After years of teasing and months of delays due to coronavirus, Ford is finally poised to reveal its reborn Bronco. In an Instagram post from June 13, Ford confirmed the Broncos return on July 9. That will certainly be a big day for off-road fans, but it will also be a big day for someone else. July 9 happens to be the birthday of one Orenthal James Simpson. Yes, that O.J. Simpson.
For those who still dont understand the correlation here, Simpson is a former NFL star...

Ford could have picked a different day in order to dissociate the Bronco with memories of OJs infamous slow chase.
Maybe they can have Al Cowlings drive the first one off of the assembly line (a white one, of course.)
The new Bronco will not have an optional V8. The new trend is turbo 4s and 6s ensuring poor engine life. Welcome to the future with 4 cyclinder trucks suckas.
Julyteenth?
Is that the Bronco Bama special edition?
Or have OJ drive a white one, super slow at the premier...
The selected day is OJ's birthday, not the anniversary of the chase. Frankly, I don't give a damn, but I would get a laugh if it were the anniversary of the chase.
So many people seem to be looking for a reason to put down the sensitivity of others. Karens to the right of me, Karens to the left...
Four-cylinder trucks are hardly new, aside from full-size trucks that have them.
And the Toyota R engine is nearly indestructible.
I just looked at it. Butt ugly! Looks like old International Scout.
Ford should help OJ search for the “real killers”.
He hasn’t had much luck yet on his own.
All the Ford Broncos will be white (opposite of Henry Ford’s “any color as long as it’s black”) AND will have engine governors to make them go 20 mph top end.
OJ: “Its’s so sweet to honor me. I think I’m gonna cry.”
Does it come with a set of steak knives?...............
I’ve owned an ‘82 and a ‘90 Bronco, fairly reliable vehicles that did well in the snow but the fit and finish wasn’t great. The first series (’65-’77) have been bringing insane prices at auction over the last few years.
They thought they would take another stab at it....
Prices slashed!!! Buy now and we will double your order!!

Ford has been putting turbo-6’s in trucks for years. The 6 has more torque than the 8.
I like the 1 generation Bronco but never enough for those prices even if I had the dough.
