Job security
Remind me again, the end is nigh has been proclaimed, predicted, and asserted for how many thousands of years?
I was actually a believer in 5/5/2000 and the world ‘ending’ with a catastrophic global poleshift which is arguably more grounded in reality than most other ‘end predictions.’ Did not happen. Not falling for ‘the end is nigh’ message, in whatever form it takes, ever again.
That is a bold prediction for a dead guy.
Da Vinci. Means “from Vinci.” He was the master (of that domain).
So, was Sir Newton a Mayan? I don’t mind the Mayans. Maybe he was a Mayan reader. (Okay, I’ll stop. I don’t want to kill the room. I mean, it’s not even 2059 yet).
ha...ha...ha.. :/
He was alive when he made the prediction :)
Gotcha. My ex-girl tried to get me to watch that...didn’t happen.
Not my cup of tea.
It may have been simple for Newton.
But then again, he invented calculus.
Well, there are other episodes. I just love science.
> LOL. Good luck asking Einstein. He was an atheist anyway. <
Ive looked into that in some detail. And from what I could tell, Einstein was an agnostic and not an atheist. But Im not sure. His comments on the subject were usually rather cryptic.
Classic movie. Just love it!
“God does not play dice with the Universe.”
Einstein
So Ill wait to see what Einstein has to say in this matter.
Einstein said it was a family matter, it was all relative.
Note: The mafia killed Einstein...because he knew too much.
I would be 99. If I can make it.
Come Jesus!
Yes, he did say God doesn’t play dice with the universe. He also said he knew there had to be “something” behind all that energy. Regardless he was an interesting man/so intelligent.
I would be 96.
“Didnt Malachy already say that Francis is the last pope?”
Say what? (tagline)
I believe it was JEAN DIXON who said the last pope would be Paul VI, and after him an assembly of Cardinals would replace him.( A GIFT OF PROPHECY by Ruth Montgomery)
Remember the STAR Tabloid headline “JEAN DIXON SAYS NIXON WILL NOT RESIGN!” that hit the news stands the very week Nixon resigned.
Ten years later (1985) her publicity agency said she DID predict his resignation. No she didn’t. I remember another prophecy earlier in PARADE Magazine in which she said Nixon would not resign.
The end of the world is always a few decades away. Always, close enough to scare the gullible but far enough away that the scammers have ample time to cash in on it.
