Savage man sentenced for throwing Molotov cocktails into Dakota County courthouse
Twin Cities ^ | 12/09/20 | Nick Ferraro

A Savage man on Wednesday was sentenced to 6 1/2 years in prison for throwing Molotov cocktails into a Dakota County courthouse as unrest spilled into the Twin Cities suburbs in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death in police custody, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Fornandous Cortez Henderson, 33, in August pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Paul to one count of aiding and abetting arson. He admitted that he chose the Western Service Center in Apple Valley as a target because he had made court appearances there in the past and because he was angry with law enforcement over Floyd’s death, the attorney’s office said.

After putting out the fire, officers spotted Henderson and Garrett Patrick Ziegler, 24, of Long Lake, on a nearby road and arrested them. According to the June 2 criminal complaint against both of them, Henderson fled and was apprehended a short distance away, and Ziegler repeatedly resisted arrest.

Located at the scene were items consistent with those used in Molotov cocktails, including broken glass jars and liquor bottles, pushpins, intact glass jars containing ignitable liquid, and a charred red bandana.

They also found a set of car keys in the grass belonging to a Ford Fiesta parked in a nearby parking lot. They later executed a search warrant on the car, which was registered to Ziegler, and found liquor bottles, a May 29 store receipt for three bandanas, an empty cardboard box for 12 mason jars, an empty Kingsford brand lighter fluid bottle, alcohol bottles, a plastic jar containing a clear unidentified liquid and a store receipt for nail polish remover.

Mason jars are always used by the advanced idiot...

That’s because mason jars are the jars that can always be depended upon to break at the slightest impact.

He looks like UpChuck Manson with a ice cube tray shoved up his ass. Should have been a .357 Magnum.

Why the harsh sentencing? I would have been more lenient, by ushering him up a nice staircase to a special wooden platform of his very own, and then rewarding him for his violent initiative by fitting a lovely rope necktie around his neck. He deserves no less.
