Princess Anne has shared a glimpse of her very suburban living-room filled with sweet family photos and dozens of books and trinkets at her Gatcombe Park home in Gloucestershire.
The Princess Royal, 70, who is patron of Scottish Rugby, shared a photo as she cheered the Scottish Rugby team who won the Calcutta Cup yesterday after beating England 6-11.
In a snap shared on the Royal Family official Instagram account, the Queen's only daughter relaxed in a modern cosy lounge full of family photos, beautiful paintings, books and trinkets with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

I was not aware of that incident. So I looked it up. Yep, Anne handled herself quite well there.

She seemed as cold as her mother at least the portrayal on the Queen. All the Queen’s children seem awful.

Back in high school our chemistry teacher was obsessed with horses. On celebrity day she dressed as Princess Anne and nobody noticed. She always dressed that way.
When we were informed that she had a baby, I immediately replied to the news with “was it a colt or a filly?”
“ They should have gone after Charles...”
No one would have paid the ransom.

I always kind of liked Anne, but I’ve never been a royal watcher. Curiously, I do love the Brits and all things British, and lived in the UK for a short time. I love Great Britain. Hate seeing it crumble into mediocrity.
While they didn’t invent punk and new wave music, they certainly put their special spin on it. Oh, and they gave us my hero, the Lion of England, Winston Churchill.
They’re so ordinary I’ve never heard of them. j/k
