You could have used fewer words, but not many.
Thank [your favourite deity] that this is a joke.
Otherwise I’d be richer than Trump.
Given all the wood I’ve had to split this past month that was very funny.
I’m glad it had a comedy satire label on it. This would be entirely plausible. In fact, I bet someone sees this and tries to launch it.
No kidding. Everything is artisanal and Overpriced these days!!!
I am all for quality but a lot of it is just useless fussiness

What? Your not burning ginger rubbed firewood? Philistine.
these are the same people that drink coffee made from beans shat out by a civet!!!
Heck...looks like I’ve been taking shortcuts with my firewood.
One of the comments...”I was in before it was poplar”.
$1200 per log. Well worth the enjoyment of hand-crafted firewood.
Firewood sells for $5 a bundle in the grocery near my house. A couple of years ago I saw a guy buying two bundles and figured correctly he was camping in the nearby forest.
I told him if he had 10 minutes to spare I would sell him a whole trunkload for $10. He agreed and when he saw my woodpile he said, “at the store price you have about $10,000 sitting here.”
Comments are pretty funny, too. “He was my instructor for Firewood 101 when I was getting my B Sc (Bachelor of Stove Combustion)”
NO
Here in Indiana, the Asian ash borer invasion has killed all our ash trees. At least the ash makes good firewood.
Reminds me of the tale of the conversation between the grocery store produce section customer and the employee:
Customer: “What’s the difference between the regular and organic stuff?”
Employee: “The price.”
The secret for a pretty campfire. You don’t need to buy fancy artisan wood. A copper tube with holes drilled in it and a piece of vinyl water hose crammed inside of it produces beautiful colors when thrown into the fire.
Yesterday a friend brought over his fancy new shotgun for me to look at. What a beautiful stock that looked like some exceptional piece of tiger maple until I looked closer. It was sycamore that had been given an unbelievable artisan treatment. It sure was Purdy though, lol.
Unfortunately, at the new Compound, open burning is a real [and severe] risk to lighting up the ‘hood.
In the middle of Winter and with a foot or more of snow on the ground, a “social” fire is OK.
Gorebal Warming B darned, it’s a problem....
I find Sycamore to be awesome.
[And my >100 yr old tree drops limbs all the time].
