Craziest video ever: A hawk swoops down and catches a rabbit. Then a DEER rushes out and rescues the rabbit by stomping the hawk to death. What the actual heck.

I don't even know what to say. That deer has seen some things, man. There's certainly some trauma in its past. Just a cold-blooded remorseless killer.

Either that or the bunny was the deer's lifelong homie and she just wasn't letting fluffy go out like that.

Or maybe the deer and hawk had a beef and the deer was just waiting for a moment like this to catch the hawk slippin?

Either way, that hawk was not getting away with its life. The deer made sure of that.

If you've seen anything crazier than this today, I don't even wanna know what it is.

I stepped on a rabbit once when I was about 5-6, walking through a field. It screamed bloody murder.

When I was in my 20’s a man I was with got gored by a huge buck. I grabbed his rack and managed to get him off the man. Together we wrestled our way to a gate in a fence and shoved the buck aside while we jumped through. The buck hit the gate behind us and bent it, but we were safely on the other side.

I was bruised up. The other guy’s arm was out of joint.

I’m sure it isn’t, but am compelled to inform you since you’re our resident fanged deer specialist.

What do you think is the best commercially made dog treat? My husband had them hooked on Dream Bones; finally put reading glasses on to read label and they’re made in China. Rats. This means I have to start making beef jerky or peanut butter crackers for them until I can find something that’s made in America. They already get grain-free Greenies.

My neighbor’s brother set up in the backyard one night to shoot coyotes. He was using an electronic caller playing the wounded rabbit sound.

That is the freakiest noise I’ve ever heard.

I’m not the one that unleashed coffee deer, actually.
I merely unleashed coffee.
Someone else said “ya know, this is a good idea.” and gave it to deer.

“Knew a guy in high school that gut shot a deer with last bullet and killed it with his knife.”

I went to church with a guy who, on his way to a job-site, saw a deer get clipped by car on the expressway. It jumped into a construction lane that was blocked off with concrete barriers and was hobbling around with a broken leg.

He tackled it and slit it’s throat with a pocket knife. He gutted it right there then threw it in the back of the truck, packed it in ice and then went to work for the day.

We use Bue Dog Bakery stuff.

NO China

https://www.bluedogbakery.com/faq/

Be careful with Greenies.
When wet they’re slimy and impossible for vets to grab with hemostats if the dog get them stuck in their throat.
They also tend to not break down in the system and cause blockages.
Lots of dead dogs from them.

I really don’t give my dogs many “treats” anyway.
Few of them are really nutrionally beneficial and just add calories and sugar.

Better to give them bits of boiled beef or chicken as treats or rewards.

For chewing, mine get soft toys with no stuffing to pull out and swallow.

My boy’s sister gets store brand oat square generics of Life Cereal because the store brand does NOT contain BHA or BHT.

There’s a lot of stuff I don’t allow my dogs, like any food that contains menadione bisulfite.

Really picky.

:)

Thank you. I knew you’d be the one to ask. Actually, boiling chicken and beef is very doable, and then freezing them in serving-size amounts.

Turkeys eat ticks. Maybe it was eating what the deer was shedding.
