Came across an interesting theory that much of that movie is from the imagination of a woman suffering a full of psychotic delusional state and that the frequent changing of scenery, the disappearance or rearrangement of thing, is the clue to when it’s real and when it’s her delusional state.
It’s from a book by Stephen King. I haven’t read it and I don’t know where he got his inspiration, maybe from that woman. Creepy, anyway.

I may have missed it, but I didn’t see any mention of these being from fetal stem cells. Maybe they can be grown from stem cells from the recipient of the new retinas?
It is still possible to harvest live cells from a dead fetus, at least for an hour. The cells do not immediately disintegrate when the fetus is aborted.

You thought I was talking about aborted babies? No. I was talking about stillborn. You know, where no one was murdered.
You are aware that with miscarriage the time of death of the baby from expulsion is normally measured in days? That high temperature in the body accelerates the processes of decay involved?
So they aren’t getting cell lines from miscarriages.
It takes effort and skill for these ghouls to extract cell lines from aborted babies and that’s only possible because they choose the time of death and can have all their gadgets on hand … and indeed it seems some have taken to delivering “abortions” alive to place them in cold storage to give them more time.
If they want cell lines and those cell lines aren’t from living people who won’t miss them (say surgery patients or from biopsies) they aren’t getting them at all unless they are in control at every murdering step along the way.
