Barbara Olson, a conservative commentator and lawyer, wasn't panicked when hijackers took over her flight on Sept. 11, 2001, from Washington Dulles airport to Los Angeles, where she was heading for an appearance on Bill Maher's TV show.
She managed to call her solicitor general husband, Ted Olson, twice from the back of the plane where the terrorists, armed with knives and box cutters, herded the passengers. She reported the hijacking aboard American Airlines Flight 77 and asked what she could convey to the captain.

This is a very somber day. Have been following documentaries on History Channel since yesterday.
It is truly remarkable and breathtaking how stupid all of that is.
It was on fire for many, many hours. When a building is on fire it tends to become structurally unsound. Why is that so difficult to understand?

Interesting . . . What do you mean by “gas-incapacitated”? Was a deadly or disabling gas intentionally released into the cabin, or was the usual oxygen system switched off causing . . . hypoxia or something? I have no doubt the official versions and explanations are untrue, but the many conspiracy theories are just as hard to believe. Yes, it would be signing ones own death warrant, but surely at least one insider would risk it to step forward and reveal the truth . . .
November 13 as I was walking up 8th Avenue after work, a long procession of ambulances crawled past me. Carrying remains to the morgue at Roosevelt Hospital.

WTC 7 collapsed because falling debris from WTC1 ignited uncontrolled fires on at least ten floors of WTC7 which burned for hours, weakening the support structure of the building and causing its collapse.
Cutting charges would have made loud noises which were not reported by people in the area and did not show up on recordings of the collapse.
I won’t even go into the remote-controlled airplane fantasy.
In my honest opinion, anyone who believes this bullsh!t is either stupid or crazy and probably both.
Thank you for posting this remembrance of FReeper Barbara Olson (BKO). The D.C. Chapter met her and Ted several times and we attended her memorial service that fall in Arlington.
I cannot fathom the tremendous shock and loss to you and your fellow NYC friends and family on 9/11/01. Many of us continue to grieve with you.

I didn’t know that. I believe you. Everything I read said nothing left of plane it anything. Just the hole.
That is 180-degrees in opposition to many contemporaneous, eye-witness testimonies. Those several large explosions did happen. They also blew out windows, which is seen on videos, as were many witnesses who attested to those facts.
Prior to 9/11 no tall skyscraper or even tall building ever fell onto itself merely from burning. Not one.
Your "honest opinion" counts for nothing compared to unmistakable evidence to the contrary. I'm sad you've been so propagandized to think that way.
