I DO have crickets at night ... youtube is a Godsend.
Mine started after a freaky collapse while I was working out in the gym. Room spun around me for hours. Taken by ambulance to hospital, but they never did figure out what caused it, but my hearing diminished in one ear and tinnitus started.
Sound of recorded crickets helps me.
Recorded crickets? I never thought about that,
the live ones I put in my ears would never sit
still long enough...
Big grin!
Music or AM radio or plain static. Louder the better hah.
Especially when the spelunking !
I have Tinnitus. It’s pretty bad. Caffeine makes it even worse. There’s no cure.
Especially when they go spelunking !
Hahahah, cave crickets, it’s been a long time.
cicadas in a Texas summer always help. I’m running out of summer here.
What does your ENT say?? My tinnitus is related to flareups of my Meniere’s disease (which cost me all hearing in my left ear).
Read this https://www.tinnitusformula.com/library/thyroid-dysfunction-and-tinnitus/
and understand that you provide no information for anyone to make a reasoned analysis. As well, I am not a board-certified, licensed doctor.
However, you should know that one central premise in my book is that nearly ALL Americans are iodine deficient and that when I undertook a comprehensive approach to recover my health (without the punishment of a doctor or pharmaceuticals), one aspect was responsible for reversal of over a dozen individual health symptoms:
I began taking 12x the USDA for iodine in the form of Icelandic Kelp tablets.
One symptom which I only noticed had been impacted OVER A YEAR LATER due to its lack of incidence:
You guessed it. Still pops up from time to time, but I dare say the time between a 30 second episode is almost measured in years rather than days.
As well, I know a gal who was diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease and, even though she won’t admit it, was helped by her dietary changes which increased her iodine.
Happy hunting and good luck.
Got it bad a few days after the J&J. 7000 other have after the jab.
Wakes me up at night.
Wish I hadn’t gotten the jab and just relied on Ivermectin.
In a dead silent room, lightly rub your finger in your earlobe so the sound you hear from it is right at the very edge of your discernable hearing. You want to be straining your ability to hear the sound it makes then simply continue until the ringing stops.
I find that the tinnitus affects my ability to fall asleep and white noise helps with falling asleep.
My husband has had some success with a supplement that he recently started called Synapse XT. It has not totally ended the problem but it is much reduced. You can find it on the internet.
My tinnitus gets louder looking up or to the right. Sports Chiropractor helps some by adjusting upper most spine. Anyone with movement tinnitus solutions?
Yes, white noise.
It doesn’t work that way for me. The sound just gets more intense with loud or prolonged music. It’s worse at night and when waking up. Standing make it a little quieter. I have partial hearing loss in one ear with certain frequencies, but the tinnitus affects everything — surround sound. It went away for a while, and then it came back. Why? I don’t think I’ll ever know.
That’s interesting! My hearing loss is also in my left ear. They ran a lot of tests and couldn’t find a thing wrong.
