Joe Biden’s parting words to conclude his first State of the Union address left some viewers scratching their heads.
As he prepared to step back from the podium following a poignant hour-long speech before Congress and the nation on Tuesday night, the president declared: “Go get ‘em!”
Viewers sounding off on social media were quick to question what Mr Biden meant.
“What did ‘Go get him’ mean? Sincere question,” one Twitter user asked.
Another quipped: “My thoughts are with the White House speechwriter whose closing statement just got replaced with ‘go get em!’”

The go get’em was a personal message to the President...It’s the only thing that fits....
Who knows? Maybe, He had a flashback to his days coaching little league in the 1970’s? I didn’t really think much of it, not much different that most of the unintelligible nonsense he utters.

"Go Get 'Em" was not supposed to have been read aloud by Biden. It was an instruction to Jill.

He thought he was at a campaign rally?? I only saw the part of the speech that was clipped where Pelosi stood and gleefully rubbed her fists together while he talked about soldiers breathing in toxic air. Just emailed her office. If history is any indication, the corrupt FBI will soon have my contact information. I may be just as much as terrorist threat as those parents before school boards!
