A federal appeals court has agreed to halt the FDA's ban on Juul products thanks to a lawsuit filed by the e-cigarette manufacturer.
Juul asked a federal court Friday to block a government order to stop selling its electronic cigarettes, and was told the application had succeeded.
The news was first reported by Reuters, with further details on how long the ban on sales will be suspended for yet to emerge.
The e-cigarette maker had earlier asked the court to pause what it calls an 'extraordinary and unlawful action' by the Food and Drug Administration that would require it to immediately halt its business. The company filed an emergency motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington as it prepares to appeal the FDA´s decision.

I don’t vape but I’m on the side a business in this case. Not sure if there’s a good guy here.

Good.
The FDA had no right to block a completely legitimate product because they just didn’t like how it was advertised.

The company noted that the FDA denied its application while authorizing those submitted by competitors with similar products. That will teach them to pay off the right people in the future.

Well, the FDA have been shown to be a very questionable organization.
Vaping sounds like another issue for State Legislatures [who collectively have been very lazy, much like Congress].

Same here...I disagree with the FDA going after businesses as they did here.
There’s bad merchandise and poorer grade merchandise everywhere - from food to vapers. You have a choice.

I agree with the decision...The court can put you out of business on a dime??
This was the alternative to cigarettes. You can still sell cigarettes. So this makes no sense at all.

As we’re seeing with the Demorats they love regulating and using the government depts to throw their weight around on whoever they target.

"Not sure if there’s a good guy here." Opinions vary. But I can tell you that vaping helped me get off the cigs. And because you can vary the nic content of vape juice, quitting the e-cigs was easy (relatively speaking).

The billboards for recreational marijuana pizza and gummi bears here in Arizona don't have a hint of warning on them.

federal regulatory overreach blocked (at least for now by courts) ... lilly-livered/sold-out Congress should address the issue, but of course that won’t happen either ...

I’ve read that in more than 1 article and I think that’s great.

Shutter the FDA. They don’t do anything that I can’t do along with my doctor and butcher.

Do the bureaucrats that did this get charged for harming businesses and pay damages or do prison time for violating civil rights?

I never tried vaping, but it seems to be a lot safer than smoking.
And a lot, lot, lot safer than smoking marihuana!
Why going after Jull?
