I must get this off my chest. Mind you, this is more of a rant to all those feeling nostalgic and remorseful over a Queen who lived the life of privilege from birth to death. As much as I mourn the passing of any human, I pray she was saved. While I do truly feel she was a good woman, I do not understand the borderline worship so many in America seem to feel for her. She was nothing more to me than the World's biggest welfare Queen. Mind you, the royal family made their wealth off the backs of their citizens for over 1200 years.
I do mourn the passing of a human, nothing more nothing less. She was a figure head who never had power in all her life, because the Crown abdicated their rule 373 years ago. That is 373 years of continually collecting money from enterprises built upon the backs of slave labor the World over.
Can you name me one British Elitist who does not hate America? They go so far as to accuse America from getting wealthy of the World, when in reality it is the royal family, whom they worship, who made their money off slave labor from their colonies around the World. They were the one's colonizing the World for their benefit, the United States never ever colonized anything. Regardless of what the left claims.
So now they lost their beloved Queen, and the family of misfits continues to fleece the citizens of England by making money off the citizens. Think about it, it's their ancestors who made the royal family rich. All the while these foolish English citizens seem to worship the family like they are god's. A citizenry whom for the vast majority lived in abject poverty through most of the last millennium.
Sorry if I do not share everyone's sense of pride over someone who has passed away. Mind you, this woman was angry when one of her cousins spoke out against abortion. Yes, Shockingly the Queen Mother was pro choice. She did like Reagan and publicly got along with Margaret Thatcher, but the family all leaned to the left through the years. Today they are borderline radicle leftists.
Something else my fellow Christian brothers and sister need to know, the head of the Monarchy is the head of the Church of England. Yes the Queen Mother was the head of the church, now Charles is. A church that pretty much aligns closely with the doctrine of the Catholic Church, but in many cases is even more heretical.
Remember, the Church of England sprang up so that King Henry VIII could divorce his wife. However, the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles V, would not allow it because Henry's wife was his sister. So Henry began his own reformation by leaving the Catholic Church, which he then was allowed to divorce his wife. He then married Anne Boleyn in 1533, and 3 years later had her head removed. He claims because she committed adultery, but the truth is she failed to give him a male heir.
I will readily admit I have very little love or respect for the majority of politicians and mega wealthy individuals in America today. Since it is the evil alliance of the mega rich and politicians who are busily trying to push us back into the feudal system, better known today as Communism. OH, I know there are good politicians, and good rich people, but they are few and far between. So forgive me if I do not join on everyone's shock and sadness at the passing of the World's greatest Welfare Queen.
Millions of people in Britain and the Commonwealth are vehemently disagreeing with you as we write.
The ignorance of many people here of so many things - history; culture; the complications of statecraft, diplomacy and the sphere and limitations of the British Monarchy; the depth of the ultimate importance of individual *character* - is all astounding to me.

Then you might despise God. He is a monarch, and it is He who sets up kings on the earth per Daniel 2:21. And per pastor Jonas Clarke, the USA has “no sovereign but God and no king but Jesus”, so there is a form of monarchy inherent in our founding.
The worst troubles on this planet have not been perpetuated by monarchs anyhow, at least not constitutional monarchs. We didn’t slay our monarch as France did theirs; we broke away from him.
We can argue that point, but GOD would not use a Godly person to accomplish a terrible task.
God used Pharaoh, but he was not a good dude, God used Hitler, but he was not good.
Show me where GOD used Godly people to accomplish a bad thing.
Even when GOD allows bad people to do terrible things, he is only emboldening the heart of the one that wants to do it, but only stops from doping bad at the urge of GOD.
Sometimes GOD will allow ones own desire to take front stage if it is in HIS plan for greater Glory
i.e., Joseph being sold into slavery by his brother.
Another example is Nebuchadnezzar destroying Jerusalem and the Temple and taking the people into captivity.
God does allow bad people to do bad things, He does not allow good people to do evil things.
Read what I said again, I gave a caveat that I feel the same about many American politicians and Wealthy Americans who want us to be sold into communism

My post #60 was about the late queen and royal assent. I along with many others certainly wished she had used it to stop abominations like the 1967 Abortion Act and 2013 “Marriage (Same-Sex Couples) Act”.
I agree. I love history, just because I think kings and dictators are mostly evil entities, I love the things they built.
I just don’t allow my love of historical things to get in the way of logic and wisdom.
GOD did not want us to have Kings, and history shows us why.

Democracy is the best form of government, actually Representative Democracy, with a strong free capitalist system.
Monarchies work mostly off crony capitalism, the friends of the king are always at the top.
Christianity is Freedom. That is why America is a Christian nation. Not simply demographics. It is because both things are built on the individual's ability to run his own life and determine his own final destiny.
You don't need govt to grant your freedom. And you don't need religion to save your soul.
It is no sin to desire a Free Republic instead of a ruling king nowadays.
But no form of govt is always good. Boris gave the Brits an English Greta. King James gave the world an English Bible.
There are plenty of British royal failures to highlight, same as the kings of the bible. But without the monarchs and the kings of the Catholic and other Christians religions defending the faith at times, America would quite possibly have been born a colony of Muslim tyranny.
A decent Christian in this queen's case can honestly hate the monarchy while respecting the monarch.
I would have loved to meet the lady who met every president since Moses.
