A Yonkers police sergeant who did little to stop two men from pummeling a victim as he slumped to the ground has been placed on modified duty, the city’s police force revealed Sunday.
In a series of tweets, Yonkers police condemned the apparent lack of action from sergeant Amy Kielb while two brothers punched, kicked and grappled with another man Oct. 25 — all caught on surveillance video.
The footage, obtained by The Post, shows Kielb getting out of a double-parked cruiser and saying something to the brothers, but not physically intervening. “The Yonkers Police sergeant who initially responded has had her duty status modified and placed in an administrative capacity pending the outcome of the internal investigation,” the department tweeted.
“The Yonkers Police Department trains and expects its members to respond and take the appropriate and necessary actions in situations like these, and it is apparent from the video that did not happen; due process will determine why.

The little girl didn’t want to get her ass kicked. She should have pulled out some pepper spray and doused them down at the first sign of non-compliance.

She could have used pepper spray on each.
Instead, she just stands there, her words seemingly telling them men to “Keep it up!”

In emergency situations, people prefer a big burly guy as a cop, fire fighter, lifeguard, not a weak girl. However, that doesn’t tick off the right boxes for affirmative action hiring.

Here’s the way the argument goes. Smaller and weaker folks (male and female) can make good cops because they have the tools needed to subdue a subject without the need for force: pepper spray, a taser, etc.
Evidently there are flaws in that argument.
How dare you discriminate agaisnt womenz? Who cares if he public is at risk because a female can’t subdue teenage perps because she isn’t physically able to do so? I mean come on- women have a right to equality no matter what the situation! /s
She should be replaced by a man who thinks he’s a women.

Every single cop show made the last 10 years always have some small, tiny, 100lb woman able to beat up any large burly 200lb guy, and sometimes they take down more than one at a time.
So it must be true.
What do we know about the victim? Maybe the cop knew of him and wished she could get in a few good licks too. There are individuals who deserve a “lesson”.
The lack of action should disqualify her from the police force.
Modified duty???? She should immediately fired!
When it comes down to stopping a drunken street brawl, four women cops equals one male cop.
They gave her less to do than nothing?
Just like in the movies.
