A tale of two Americas - Red states are growing, while blue states are mired in lawlessness and decline.

Yesterday’s Midterms were not a victory for conservative or progressive ideology, but an assertion of the growing power of geography in American politics. It was less a national election than a clash of civilisations.

Virtually nowhere in blue areas did Republicans make gains. Both the north-east and California – the central players in Democratic Party politics – stayed solidly blue. Even the most well-regarded GOP candidates, such as Lanhee Chen who ran for California state controller, struggled to make inroads in Democratic territory.

Meanwhile, the senators and governors of the leading red states – Texas’s Greg Abbott, Georgia’s Brian Kemp, Florida’s Ron DeSantis, Ohio’s Mike DeWine – all won handily. Almost all blue-state governors remained the same as well, although the Democratic incumbents often won by smaller margins.

So, what is happening in this increasingly inexplicable country? Essentially, there are now two prevailing realities in the US. One is primarily urban, single and, despite some GOP gains in this demographic, still largely non-white. It functions on the backs of finance, tech and the service industries. The other is largely suburban or exurban, family centric and more likely involved in basic industries like manufacturing, logistics, agriculture and energy.

Usually, the media assume these two Americas represent equally viable political economies. But this is increasingly not the case. In population terms at least, red America is now growing far more rapidly than blue America. And this makes it more important politically. Since 1990, Texas has gained eight congressional seats, Florida five and Arizona three. In contrast, New York has lost five, Pennsylvania four and Illinois three. California, which now suffers higher net outbound-migration rates than most Rustbelt states, lost a congressional seat in 2020 for the first time in its history.

There are no blue states...only states where democrats rig elections on an industrial scale without fear of prosecution.

Eh, then why are prices climbing here in California? For all the people who call San Francisco a sh!thole, more people want to live there than there are spaces for, so prices keep going up.

I read an article here somewhere where a Socialist RAT politician proclaimed that the Big RAT Tsunami is proof that Americans don’t care about crime. They prefer living in a lawless hellhole.

But a significant portion of the Red States’ growth is likely to result from Democrat/Communists escaping what they voted for in the Blue States. And as cancer is a “progressive” disease, so is the appropriately named “progressive movement” metasticizing from the infected, destroyed Blue States into the healthy Red States.

The biggest thing the Dems did to fix this election was to manipulate the census. Florida and Texas should each have gotten two more congressional seats. NY and CA should each have two less.

We are at the point now where the ‘spoils’ gained in LOOTING by the massive amount of third worlder’s BIDEN and company have let in for VOTES cannot be sustained - even with a massive increase in debt Biden and company knows they’ll never have to pay back to stay in power.

They’ve perfected the cheat and they’ll keep on cheating and one day in the near future it will all come crashing down and we become Venezuela of the north.

The blue culture will continue to rot. The constitutional guarantee of two Senators per state and the electoral college, normally a good thing, will - in this instance - hamper American renewal.

It is what it is. Blue culture rot is best understood as a millstone around our necks. It could kill the whole thing.

Vote with your feet.
Ohio now has a Conservative Supreme Court and a super veto-proof majority in the State House. (Watch it, Dewine)
JD Vance must prove his mettle, but he should know we’re watching.

The big fear is the RATS fleeing the s*** hole cities they created, moving to red areas and bringing their voting habits with them.

The “progressives’ have branded the Republicans as extremists, white supremacists, and nazis. “They will kill your children!’
Don’t forget the Cockroach tag! MAGA people are evil! (GOPe think they’re exempt, ha)

Two minute hate does work. They may never have to debate issues again.

We need a concerted effort to educate the uninformed third worlders about Free Markets, Individual Liberty and Economic Freedom. Consider where they came from! I think they want a better life not more of what they left behind. It takes time.

"Red states are growing, while blue states are mired in lawlessness and decline."

That's because they remain blue through voter fraud. It's all Democrats have.

“Eh, then why are prices climbing here in California?”

Prices are climbing all over. The federal government has printed trillions of dollars - I'm not sure how many - of counterfeit money. That money, unbacked by production of goods and services, is in circulation and is being used to bid up prices of homes and hamburger.

California has a lot of economic capital to burn through; it will take a while longer. And California is a beautiful state. Some billionaires, like the Pelosi family, prefer to risk being beat to death in their own homes rather than leave their palaces.

I deal with a lot of people moving here from California and Washington State. They are either parents with young kids or people who own a business. Both groups of people are wanting to escape the insanity and don’t vote for dims.
