Supplements appear to be a reasonable way to address issues, especially if found to have deficiencies in them. They aren’t assured of full resolution, but if vitamins, minerals, or substances bodies need, it sure seems obvious to address root cause, first.

After that, other options should be explored.

I’m not sure how scientific this is, but I take 5000 IU of vitamin D3 daily, and I’m still here.

I have taken Supplements for decades and not for anything specific, but for health and survival.   I am up to 26 pills tablets or capsules in addition to my prescribed pills.   I just came upstairs from exercising and so far so good.

I read Earl Mindell's "Vitamin Bible" in the early 1980's and haven't stopped.

I was always suspicious vitamin supplements worked until they told me I was depleted of vit D and Iron. They put me on the supplements and it worked. Now I take them every day.

B-12 with folic acid sublingual or patch for a happy mood. Also helps for lower leg tingles.

Stopped taking my vitamins this summer to save money.

Restarted late fall and couldn’t believe how much my energy level sky-rocketed!

I take one 50,000 pill of D2 once weekly, still here, I have been reading that taking it with vitamin K helps remove calcium from veins and arteries and transfers it to the bones where it belongs.

If one assumes that all disorders arise from chemical deficiencies, then yes.

I’ve been taking a vitamin D pill for over 10 years, and I haven’t committed suicide yet. (I’ll let you know when I do)

Now, after the article above, I’m afraid to stop taking vitamin D. ;)

In the UK, this has been a marketing angle for many years - especially northern England and Scotland. Light-therapy lamps (sunlight spectrum) are sold there as a means of countering the long, dark winters and feelings of depression.

The food eaten by the vast majority of Americans is nutritionally deficient, and in some cases, depletes the body of vitamins and minerals.

Supplementing is required to have any chance of keeping the body working as optimal as possible.

The sunshine vitamin

It *is* the sun, lounging on the horizon:

It's like that message on the sign I saw on street view yesterday where that train derailment occurred:

"The shapes that dreams are made of"

It was a half round transom window on a now-closed window business. The ghost sign on the tracks-side of the building says "Adamson Specialties". Can't miss it.

Son of Man.

I thought, well it's like what the Reverend Mother said, only turned around:

"When the Lord closes a window, somewhere he opens a door."

Then as soon as I spun the view around 180 degrees from the Adamson sign, I saw that the old bricks on the building on the other side of the tracks had become white in such a way that they formed a huge letter dalet [ד], which means "door". Can't miss it.

The above link has the address if anyone wants to check it out.

It even has its own stairs to reach to the top.

All in the outlook, how to see out.

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
(Isaiah 40:3)

I found out one of the prescriptions that I had taken for 20 years has a side effect of destroying my vitamin D. My blood was very low in vitamin D. I never knew that my vitamin D should have been routinely checked all these years. I have severe arthritis, but I don’t know if there is connection between low vitamin D and arthritis.
