The date: January 28, 1972. The occasion: a White House gala celebrating the 50th anniversary of Reader's Digest magazine. The entertainment that night: the wholesome Ray Conniff Singers. The president quipped, "And if the music is square, it's because I like it square!"
But what happened next was anything but square.
One of the women on stage held up a sign reading "Stop the Killing," and said, "President Nixon, stop bombing human beings, animals and vegetation. You go to church on Sundays and pray to Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ were here tonight, you would not dare drop another bomb. Bless the Berrigans and bless Daniel Ellsberg."
The woman who stunned President Nixon and the star-studded audience with a plea to end the war in Vietnam was Canadian-born Carole Feraci.

So is this “news” from the DNC’s Dung beetles. Why did they roll this out now? Nixon is long gone. Maybe Jo Jo the Pedophile wants to talk about this wonderful day in feminazi history at his big show tonight.
Did she say that to LBJ?
Once LBJ left office, the Left succeeded in convincing future generations that Vietnam was all Nixon’s fault.
The Killing Fields followed closely on the heels of this woman’s silly protest. Bet she didn’t care about that.
OK, I checked out my own response. Apparently, Nixon’s Quaker upbringing was of the west coast variety, and they had churches.
“Stop The Killing”
That’s what Nixon did, at least as far as US Troops getting killed, he got them out.
But did the Killing stop? Well ask two million Cambodians, oh wait, you can’t.
Excellent conformity to the non-conformist narrative that was so popular at that time. How brave of her.
I have never heard of Carole Feraci, but showy political stunts are an indication of an unstable and narcissistic mind. I bet her life played out as a typical leftist - drug addict, multiple marriages, angry feminist, homosexual, drug addicted kids, transgender kids.
did I get any right?
Good riddance.
Eisenhower (1960) provided about 2 billion dollars and weapons, along with about 1,000 advisors to South Vietnam. Eisenhower was also the one that cut the nation in half, with Ho in control of the North and pro-Western leader Ngo Dinh Diem in control of the South.
Kennedy (1961) extended military aid and increased the number of advisors.
Johnson (1965) on March 8th, two battalions of U.S. Marines waded ashore on the beaches at Danang. Those 3,500 soldiers were the first combat troops the United States had dispatched to South Vietnam. By 1967 there were around 500,000 U.S. troops in Vietnam.
Fuhgeddaboudit, she’s a Canuck................
I just Google’d her. The top 20 entries were articles about the sign episode - including the article above.
But no Wikipedia entries or links to videos of her singing, such as on YouTube.
The 21st Google entry is this FreeRebublic page!
So basically she was a no talent that had her 15 minutes of fame and faded away quickly.
With all their beady little eyes and flapping heads so full of lies.
I never heard of her either, and I couldn’t find a Wikipedia page specifically for her.
“...was Canadian-born Carole Feraci”
If she was not a US citizen, she should have been barred from ever entering the United States again.
That is it? I remember that! I also remember when Eartha Kitt insulted Lady Bird Johnson to her face.
Some people have no class but act like low lifes.
