Trump last weekend predicted he would be arrested Tuesday in connection with the probe — a date that has come and gone as the grand jury continues their closed-door meetings. Special counsel Jack Smith, who is overseeing an investigation into the mishandling of records at Mar-a-Lago as well as the effort to stop the transition of power after the 2020 election, also just scored a major court victory. An appeals court backed a lower court ruling ordering Trump’s attorney in the Mar-a-Lago probe, Evan Corcoran, to turn over documents and transcripts of calls to prosecutors.

Oh, it’s investigating alright. But it is “Spanish-Inquisition” type investigation that is or should be illegal.
Instead of actual probable cause of a crime triggering an investigation (constitutional and legal), the tyrants are conducting baseless investigations of political enemies looking for probable cause (utterly unconstitutional and illegal).
If Trump is elected President, he will be the head of the Executive Branch of Government. Most agency heads, he can fire at will. He will have to replace them with Senate confirmations, but he can still fire most of them.
Some, he may not be able to fire. Those he can reassign to a different office location or duty station. I think shipping them off to Fairbanks, Alaska or setting up a desk in Guantanamo, Cuba might be amusing.
The best way to destroy the Deep State is to force them quit, while sending a clear message to those lower down in the organization.
