Donald Trump Jr. demands END to Bud Light boycott over partnership with trans influencer - and praises them for donating MORE to GOP than to Dems: 'I'm leaving them alone. I think you should probably do the same'

Donald Trump Jr has called for an end to the boycott of Bud Light for their partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, emphasizing their conservative credentials and saying it was wrong to 'blame the whole company for the inaction or the stupidity of someone in a marketing campaign that got woke as hell.'

Bud Light has been engulfed in a firestorm since Mulvaney on April 1 revealed that the beer company had made a special commemorative can to celebrate her year since transitioning.

Kid Rock used Bud Light cans for target practice, country singers announced boycotts and factories owned by the company received bomb threats. The parent company, Anheuser-Busch, saw $6 billion wiped off its value.

Yet Trump Jr said he had researched Anheuser-Busch and saw they mainly donated to Republicans, and said his fellow conservatives sometimes had 'the tendency of — shooting first and aiming second.'

In the video, the former president's son pointed Anheuser-Busch's supporting Republicans including Ohio Senator JD Vance and Rep. Kevin McCarthy.

Trump Incorporated is about business, business with anyone who is willing to do business with it and be fair about the variousv endeavors. Trump Incorporated has always been that... like it or not.

That’s why when the revelation hits that Trump is not a racist, he’s not a homophobe, he’s not a lot of things. The claws come out and demonization by the marxists ratchets up the rhetoric.

Trump is hated because he exposed the ruse, that politicians are not godlike, and that politicians are corrupt, and that politicians serve their best interests which sadly happens to be themselves. There are exceptions but they are probably fewer than was formally believed.

If you like Trump you’re going to have to open wide because there’s a big dollop of inclusion on that spoon. That’s how he rolls.

Wonder how much A-B stock Don Jr. owns. It’s always been about the money.

  4. Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
  5. US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
  6. No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
  7. China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
  8. US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
  9. Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
  10. Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?

Over the last twenty years one thing that so many Republican candidates have consistently overlooked is the window Free Republic offers into what is actually on the minds of every day grass roots conservatives.

During my time as a consultant I always read the responses in posts like this to get a good idea of what grassroots conservatives were thinking on a given subject.

The responses here ought to be seen as a nearly perfect reflection of the average hard core conservative’s view on the Bud Light boycott and the stupid unforced error by junior.

All of these responses are spontaneous and unsolicited.

Of the first 100 at least 90 were clearly in favor of the boycott and angry at junior for his smug edict; and worse still the REASON for his smug edict.

Let this be a lesson to smart Republican candidates: open an account at Free Republic and post your ideas here first.

Unfortunately, the too smart by half candidates that think they have to spend a ton of money to have a “Top Flight” pollster find out what grass roots conservatives think, are the wide majority.

Smart conservative candidates ought to read Free Republic every day to gain their edge.

Maybe they go back to drinking Bud or AB products, but I intend to point out that it’s tranny horse urine when I see them do so.

Concur

Given the dynamic that the Trump Administration was working through, they were miracle workers.

I would like to give Trump all the credit but I know in my heart that his entire administration was working real hard. The agents provocateurs planted inside the room notwithstanding.

If you ever listen to Obama’s speeches there was always a lot of “I and me” involved in his rhetoric, he was full of himself. Keep your ears open for the “I and me” rhetoric of any and all speakers. It shows a lack of leadership, and self importance. All the jerks go there. It’s a tell.

Also the phrase “he or she” is the smartest person in the room, it not complimentry. The meaning is that they’re not listening to anybody but their narcissist selves. And the performance of administrations under those narcissists usually fail in a big way. Even somebody as (seemingly) benign as Carter, to corrupt as the Clinton’s, and BHO (at el). There are always flags to that type of aberrant behavior or mindset.

So has Budweiser fired the inept woman who launched this stupid marketing campaign yet?

If not, Don Jr's argument is as weak as the beer that Budweiser brews.

It’s not really a boycott is it when people simply abandon a brand?

I don't think most conservatives drink fake (low alcohol beer) with hardly any taste, I think they drink more of the type with more alcohol like 5% or more.
They drink more of the beers like imports and micro breweries like the IPA's, and stouts, pilsners, wine coolers and stuff like that, not the mass produced beers. Conservatives generally have more money, that is mainly why they drink the better stuff.

“Don Jr. apparently does not accept the pure evil of Satan “

I don’t think the Trump family has a foundation in true Christianity. The concept and reality od Satan is at a deeper level than how they’ve lived their lives.

“Not well thought out move”

Didn’t PDJT host an LGBQ event at Mar-A-Lago recently? People here were disgusted because Kari Lake attended.

Trumps do NOT have a problem with this. They don’t get it.

I understand what the Trumps are trying to do. They are speaking up for a company that has really been supportive of conservatives in the past. That’s acceptable. I understand the owners have apologized, and said they were wrong. That’s a good thing. Everybody makes mistakes, and they deserve to be able to correct and move on. Consequences exist, and sometimes those consequences are uncontrollable by any one person.

I have stated that I believed that what has been done will destroy bud light, and probably Budweiser itself. That market and market share is now gone. The jokes, the association with transgender, will only continue. The made a catastrophic mistake, and they should now prepare the company to move on quickly to other products.

They may eventually recover to the same pre-market stock value or even sales, with the amount of inflation it might only take 3-4 years, but they will be hollow numbers that don’t result in anything near the profit they had.

I doubt anyone from AB is reading this, but they should start concentrating to gobble up the FRAT beer market with another label before competitors take it all away forever. Shock Top probably the best alternative. Rest in peace now Bud Light, killed by first political commercial I know of.

Trump gave $100k to the Clinton Foundation while Obama was POTUS. The Trumps are not conservatives. Never have been. Never will be. They are carpetbaggers using conservatives for their own reasons.

It doesn’t matter how much money Organized Faggotry donates to Republicans. Maybe Donnie ought to stick up for what’s RIGHT instead of defending whatever happens to be financially expedient. If The National Groomers (er, I mean Teachers) Union starting donating to GOP politicians, would their crimes then suddenly be OK as well?

I’d expect this kind of lame drivel from Ronna McRomney, whose ONLY job (besides supporting RINOs and backstabbing conservative candidates) is trying to rake in $$$$ from any source no matter how reprehensible, and I DON’T expect to hear this crap from someone who claims to be a conservative.
