Parents of teenage girl sue Wyoming school district after she was secretly allowed to identify a boy in their freshman year of high school - and teachers discussed lying to the parents in emails

A Wyoming school district is being sued by the parents of a teenage girl after they allegedly allowed her to self-identify as a boy without their knowledge.

Sean and Ashley Willey, of Rock Springs, are the parents of a teenage daughter who identified as a boy during her freshman year of high school.

The Willey's lawsuit, filed in April, alleges how school district staff used a male name and pronouns for their child without informing them for a period of six months during 2021 and 2022.

The Willeys, who are both teachers, only discovered the school district's actions when Mrs Willey overheard a conversation between two employees.

The Sweetwater County School District No. 1 has since moved to dismiss the Willey's case by downplaying the damage that was done to the parents - namely because they had no idea staff were using different pronouns to refer to their child.

However, in doing so, a series of documents, including emails between teachers have revealed how discussions took place behind closed doors between educators about the issue.

They show that staff knew full well the parents were being kept in the dark about their own child's decision.

Ashley Willey only learned about her daughter's request to be addressed as a boy following a misunderstanding at a teacher training event in March 2022.

Willey was present because she also works as a junior high school teacher in the same district, according to the Willeys' lawsuit complaint.

It’s well past time to shut down the public school axis of evil.

It would just seem logical after a while...that everyone (parents, students, teachers, administrators, journalists) would all be identifying as something ‘secretive’. Each whispering their secret identity around.

Cultish strategy?

This grooming behavior doesn’t seem to be happening at inner city schools. It always suburban schools and young white kids. With white teachers. I just realized that.🤷🏼‍♂️

Sue the school districts into oblivion.

However also sue each teacher administrator aide counselor librarian coach and others who participated.

They have liability insurance and if not have houses and families that will be put in financial jeopardy.

Nothing changes behaviors and policies of professionals and semi professionals as personal liability.

For example recently the AMA ruled that no MD can br forced into providing treatment to trans. Why? The individual liability is too great a risk.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

A lot of people don’t think this happens where they live, even Freepers. Just the other day a fine Freeper from the itty bitty state of Texas wrote with confidence that their schools don’t have this gender denial crap occurring.

It’s happening. Nearly all teachers are indoctrinated into this radical extremism when they obtain their Ed degrees. That indoctrination is further reinforced by continuing professional (cough) workshops, seminars and degrees.

Understand, there is a massive herding instinct among teachers. Our entire education k-12 public school education system is based on herding or more technically, the Frankfort School model. Teachers are herded to become herders. They embrace their own indoctrination simply by being compliant and going along with the herd. It occurs with little thought or critical thinking.

Since all teachers go through this indoctrination, it is guaranteed to exist in your schools. Never let your children or grandchildren near anyone with an Ed degree.

The school district should, instead, be suing the parent for being such an IDIOT for dumping her kid into a government school in the first place.

Everyone let the girl down. First, the school went along with the act/fantasy and basically lied to the parents. Second, especially since the parents are teachers, how could they have been so clueless to not know what was going on?

If a muslim child secretly converted to Christianity with the full support of the school staff and the parents were kept in the dark, you can bet the school would have been burned down and every single person who had a hand in the conversion would lose every single thing dear to them for the rest of their lives.

Actually no.

The muslim parents would be in prison for honor killing their child. Now maybe someone else in the community would have burned down the school but not the parents.
