F Lewis Hamilton.
I will go out on a limb, and pick Verstappen to win.
I’ll agree 👍 on both posts.
I root for Max Verstappen.....My heritage is Dutch, Zeeland Dutch and close to Belgium. Why not Max?
Thank You for a well needed dose of reality !!!
Is there an STP sponsored car with a turbine engine in the race? If so I’ll root for that one. /s
(I was in Indy in 67 to see Parnelli Jones run away from the field,... quietly too. Rain stopped it until the next day, but the guy that paid my Dad to fly him and a friend to the race, had to be elsewhere the following day. A real bummer for a 13 yr old kid.
We, in a Cessna 310, almost had a collision with an idiot pilot that cut in front of Dad on final approach to the grass runway they used near the Speedway. While Dad made a go-around he told me ‘watch that Bonanza, see where it parks!”)
We landed, parked, and Dad trotted ahead to confront the idiot. The two men and I caught up. The guy was pale, probably thinking he was going to be pounded. An interesting day)
the meeting is now open...
wi his odds, you might have to pay the bookie if he wins... 8^)
thx...
LOL... damn
“...2-2-for-Totopuffs”
Good comedy to start the day!
Thanks for the new thread, chode!
F2 Qualifying Monza was a virtual race...

I do what I can. Wish I was better at pic blending.
What the fork ?!
Max had a 27 second lead over 2nd place at Zandvoort when the race was red-flagged with seven laps to go because Zhou went waterskiing into the armco. The red flag wiped out Max’s lead but seven laps after the safety car restart, he crossed the finish line with another 3.7 second lead.
To me, the greatest tragedy of the 2014 rules change (and the ridiculously restrictive “tokens” upgrades/repairs system) is how it squandered all the driving talent — like Max — who were relegated to backmarker status simply because they didn’t have the good fortune to be driving a car with a Merc engine in it (and were denied the ability to catch up by the new rules).
Max really is a phenom. He touched the barriers at least one and possibly three times in his qualifying lap at Monaco. And did it on purpose because Monaco. This weekend he likely will break the record for the longest win streak in F1 history, currently held by Sebastian Vettel, who also did it while at the wheel of an Andrian Newey car.
This also proves (for at least the twenty-eleventh time) that Adrian Newey is the greatest automotive racing aerodynamicist the world has ever seen, not to mention the greatest F1 technical chief at least since Colin Chapman, and probably ever.
