A crime tale straight out of Charles Dickens is unfolding in the Big Apple — with adults “directing” children who appear no older than 10 to steal from unsuspecting businesses, witnesses told The Post.
The chubby-cheeked crooks have terrorized bars on the east and west side of Manhattan and Brooklyn for months, graduating from snatching money in unattended bags to stealing cash from open safes in at least two bars in the last few weeks, according to workers and owners.

The political, ideological and activist Left has thought for generations that a "new man" could be achieved -- as in John Dewey's parlance and beyond -- and yet, after all the Leftist policies, the same old tendencies of man arise, as they have for generation after generation.
The first tales of the Bible are of disobedience and then murder. Lessons for all time. But new and to be learned by each succeeding generation. When the stories are not told or even aggressively suppressed, the stories because they are in and of our nature will emerge anyway. And when not learned, they occur with a vengeance as a surprise.

Anyone who owns or runs any kind of business in NYC or any other leftist run area is completely-out-of-their mind.
And did I hear right the other day or does California now forbid business owners from stopping shoplifters? So what kind of nut would run a business in that state?

Many business owners in CA and NY are still in denial—they have normalcy bias.
There is a long time lag between when things turn ugly and when business owners realize it is time to run....

When I lived in New Orleans back in the day, the street urchins from the projects near the French Quarter were told by their welfare mommas not to come home until they had at least $50.
