Just as advertisers concentrated on unlocking the secrets to manipulating the female mind and emotions to sell them goods and convince them of what products would fulfill them and make them happy and elevated, so too did the liberal political visionaries.
My wife and I and our siblings come from nuclear families and had/have good extended families.
Aging and distance cut down on the in person extended families. However thanks to gmail, texting and live phone, we stay in contact with those still on this side of the grass.

You do know these people are all in their 70s now and largely produced nuclear families of their own.
And then supported policies that destroyed the ability for their grandchildren to ever enjoy the American Dream.

The nuclear family is God’s making. It will not be defeated or undone altogether, which means it is not and never will be “dead,” Pew Research notwithstanding.
I doubt it.
It may be true that fewer people are marrying and having children, but that doesn’t mean that the nuclear family is dead or dying.

Leftists, not liberal. Intentional misuse of the word by leftists. Liberal implies tolerance for all, which is the exact opposite of those people, who want to crush anyone that disagrees with them.

Yet half of folks under 30 are living with their parents. In the cellar.
Another Freeper here with strong families all around. Wife’s family, my family, my adult kids, all married - no divorces. Have to go to relatively remote in-laws to get to first divorce. Middle-class folks who others would deem very successful - strong families are an asset (and divorces are costly, as others here have rightly pointed out).

Folks on here will cry about this. And many of them are divorced, the action that started the demise of the nuclear family to start with.
I don't really blame anyone. America, by large, does not support the nuclear family.
As a man, you're $#it out of luck unless you're very wealthy or you're a member of an insular religious community.
I have been hearing that song for 30 years or more. It just is not true.
Hispanics go along with "woke" policies just like every other privileged group that is favored by "woke" policies. When they are not a favored group, they stop going along with "wokeness". Watch what happens when the loot runs short, and Blacks start to duke it out with Hispanics over the swag.
Spoiler: The Hispanics win. The Blacks lose. That is because Hispanics are consistently better at organized violence and bribery of public officials. And the extended family structure common in Hispanic cultures is way more influential than the pickup gang structure common in too many Black communities.
Voting? "Our Democracy"(tm)? Meh.
It is only White people, and specifically those from Northern European and Germanic ancestry who are expected to grovel at the shrine of "wokeness". And it is only White people who do so. It is a suicidal tendency, present in every culture, but has been allowed to grow unchecked in White culture. Too bad for us.
Everybody else is laughing at us, while they take advantage of our foolishness.
Maybe we should all play by the same "rules". That is not what we are doing now.

God gave us free will, and that includes the freedom to choose poorly. And those who choose poorly will pay the price with the consequences of those decisions.
I am very conservative, but I wont take away what even God wouldn’t someones free will. I will try to help them, give them my opinion etc. But in the end, it is their life and their choices and ultimately their consequences.
Not for the upper-middle class. Just the rest of America.
