Robots are here — and they’re ready to teach your children and grandchildren.
Miko is an artificial intelligence-powered robot that was designed specifically to take kids' learning to a new level.
The company's SVP of growth, San Francisco-based Ritvik Sharma, told Fox News Digital in an interview that the personal robot aims to elevate education.

Or the AI’s will unionize. Could be trouble there. More vacation benefits or your refrigerator goes on strike in solidarity.
They will be social engineering brainwashing tools, sounds like to me.
Great. Kids won’t be required to read at all.
LOL! There was a movie back in the 70's called the "Collossus Project, where the US and Soviet defense supercomputers team up to take over the world.
What would be the first demand an AI union be? More lithium?
Sex robots are on the way.
They’ll be fighting the EV’s for first place at the recharging stations. Could be trouble there...
Exactly what it sounds like to me. Who programs the “robots”...?
Why a robot? Can’t a human parent do it???
The local library lets you take or leave magazines. The cover of the December 23 Smithsonian reads: “MOVE OVER MICHELANGELO: Can a Robot Replace the World’s Greatest Artists?” I don’t think so. AI can do incredible things. It probably will create great novels and movies. But there’s a tin-like, hollow, soulless aspect to it. Will AI help children to become souless? It’s what the liberals and globalists want anyway, isn’t it? Amoral autonomans who think nothing of grave violations of the natural law and are herded like sheep.
That’s exactly what it is.
How they sell it to us is never the real reason.
It’s why, on this side of eternity, I want nothing to do with AI. If we were on the New Earth, with Christ being in charge permanently, I would have no problem with it because my expectations would be what we see on Star Trek.
However, this is how they intend to make people willing serfs by removing all contrary thought.
We LAUGH at that...well, because it was once so absurd it was hilariously funny!
Now...
While I agree there’s some that will use this for pushing their agenda on our kids...at the same time, I use ChatGPT almost daily to learn. It’s a fantastic tool, especially for technology related topics. I can ask the dumbest question and never look dumb. Go from a basic understanding of something to example code. It’s like having a personal instructor that goes at whatever pace you want.
IMHO this is the future. Anything where the knowledge base is fairly static (e.g. basic math, sciences, law, medical) will increasingly have AI options. There aren’t enough teachers, especially good ones.
“Colossus The Forbin Project”
Kudo’s for that reference, movie great.
3 book series, book 2 absolutely garbage, book 3 not much better.
“Do you like gladiator movies”?
AI is dangerous, but it’s a technology race we can’t sit on the sidelines and watch.
I went and tried Bard, it was kinda fun. While I had to scrounge some data for it, I asked it how long it would take for a spacecraft of a certain mass, using constant thrust ion engines to reach 10% of light, it gave me an answer, don’t know if it was right or not, but it “showed” it’s work, which I thought was neat.
Very astute comment. And also, regrettably, children will see the robots as authorities and their parents as a lower class.
What is still amazing is that two stars of that movie(1971?), Victor?, bad guy on Young And Restless, and Marion Ross, Mrs Cunningham, on Happy Days are still alive.
Seems like just an audio interface to the ChatGPT API for kids, and likely to be just as inaccurate and left-leaning. why do people bother having kids if they just let Silicon Valley “parent” them?
