Dozens of protesters calling for a cease fire in the Middle East interrupted Vice President Kamala Harris' event in San Jose on Monday as she attempted to talk about reproductive rights with actress Sophia Bush.
'We want a cease fire now,' the protesters shouted as some waved the flag of Palestine.
The vice president was greeted by dozen of protesters when she arrived at the Mexican Heritage Plaza. San Jose Police got into a scuffle with some outside the event, according to local reports.
'Biden, Harris, you can't hide, we charge you with genocide,' the protesters chanted.
Harris was interrupted at least three times at her event, from the moment she set down until the protesters were escorted out.
'We all want this conflict to end as soon as possible,' she said as protesters shouted.
She tried to talk as security escorted the protesters out. She began to speak again about reproductive rights and was interrupted - again.
'The topic for this discussion is what we need to do to fight back against laws that are criminalizing health care providers and making women suffer,' she said as protesters were removed.
The audience chanted 'four more years' to drown at protesters.
'There are a lot of big issues impacting our world right now,' said Harris. 'The topic for today, here, is the topic of what has happened in our country after the Dobbs decision, which took away the rights of people to make decisions for their own body. We should not be distracted from any important issue.'
The organizers of the protest said reproductive freedom is also an issue for the women of Gaza.

I don’t like Joe. But he did the right thing to support Israel. However, he’s trying to have it both ways. Joe needs to follow Fetterman’s lead and wave the Israel’s flag in front of the protestors. Well, maybe he should not do that because he’s the POTUS but you get the idea.

Joe supported Israel? Really? After Joe was sworn in he restored American taxpayer money to UNRUH. This UN agency’s funding was suspended by President Trump. Members of this group facilitated and took part in the Oct. 7,2023 rape and massacre of Israeli’s citizens.
Joe Supported Israel? Well that is a whopper. Remember Robert Malley? He was the envoy to Iran. He was recommended by Secretary of State Antony Blinken. They were longtime classmates at an elite School in Paris, France.
Anyhow Robert Malley hired several staffers with direct ties to the leaders in Iran. Imagine the classified information that was shared? Especially about Israeli border security.
Iran funds the terror groups Hamas and Hizbullah. You know the chant “from the river to the sea”. This means eliminate the Jewish state of Israel. That is the goal of Iran and its proxies, Hamas and Hizbullah.
