The first rule of Islamic fight club is that non-Muslims aren’t allowed to talk about it. And if it must be talked about, it has to be treated as a local phenomenon. That means insisting that Hamas is attacking Israel for political reasons, the Houthis are shooting at ships for political reasons, the Fulani are massacring Christians in Nigeria for political reasons, the Pakistanis, the Taliban, the Iranians, the Syrians, the Iraqis, ISIS and Mohammed who decided to stab someone on a train are all doing it for completely unrelated reasons.
On the other side, devout Islamic leaders focus on the linkage. Every battle is a step toward global conquest and the Fourth Reich of the Ummah.

Istanbul is viewed as a model for the conquest of Europe. Islamic leaders dream of turning Rome and every non-Muslim city into another Istanbul.

This is a statement of fact, and easily supported by Islamic texts. The "liberal" pretense that this is not so is idiotic and blatantly uninformed.
Islam seeks "submission" of all to it.
It is also a problem for Islamists, as it is a similar problem for corrupt politicians as for Leftists. All agree that someone should "rule," but then they fight one another to be the "ruler." This has been the history of conflict between sects in Islam, as between socialists of various flavors, and of course, for the corrupt politicians, there is never any honor among thieves.
True. Unless everyone learns that Islam is NOT a religion, but a system of government, worse than Hitler’s Germany or Stalin’s Russia, or Mao’s China.
The only peace under Islam is submission to it and the ‘will of allah’.

I'd not be surprised to see this happen since native Italians--like everyone else in the West--are contracepting, aborting, open bordering, and gaying themselves into oblivion. It doesn't help that they are abandoning Catholicism (thanks Pope Francis and the western bishops) and turning back to paganism.
It's kinda like in college football when your team beat a team that was traditionally really really good in the past, but not so much lately. For example, if your team beat Nebraska last year you might have bragged about it like it was beating Nebraska during the 1990's.
That's how Muslims see "Rome".
