Doesn’t matter how much food is in the pipeline if the pipeline is broken.
DOD “experiments” have determined that after people miss four meals they riot and loot.
After going hungry for ten days, 30% will commit suicide and a large fraction of the remaining will resort to cannibalism.
Good luck.
A weird thing about totalitarians is they always want things kept secret. Often for no reason beyond, ‘only the cool kids get to know’... Also makes it easier to lie to the public. Reporters should be free to question the captain, and hire a translator...
This seems to be greatly overstating the truth.
There are two more bridges just two miles north.
They don’t need to “Hack” or “Highjack” any ship to do a lot of damage to the infrastructure of the US or any other country.
A few Terrorists with some 50 Cal around Airport traffic areas and just some Bic Lighters around our Forrests or dry areas.

Somebody just profited some engineering/construction work, somebody profited a shipment insurance claim, a city garnered an unsafe bridge litigation and a slew of wrongful death suits, and OH MY YES, monkeyed a major traffic artery, a port channel, and an engineering feat of offloading conex’s from that ship, where she sits at the sveme og the accident!
Tho’ I seem a scalawag, those folks so taken away by this FUBAR, I put my hat to my heart in sorrow.

The track of the container ship once it umdocked was... interesting. One video capture of the incident (I won’t call it an accident) showed the vessel obviously under power when it struck the support. It wasn’t merely drifting.
