Lay off the faculty, close all the classes, announce that the campus facilities are being repurposed as illegal alien housing, and report all student visa holders as no longer in class.
If you are causing property damage, it is no longer a protest.
When Obama engineered the Government takeover of student loans, he guaranteed the ability of Colleges to charge whatever the hell they wanted to charge for tuition and other college costs. Perhaps the solution is to sell the loans back to the banks (slowly) and Universities and let them service the loans on their terms.

The University doesn’t care, it’s not their money.
These private institutions like Columbia University with an endowment worth of $13.6 Billion or Harvard at $49.4 Billion can well afford virtually any damage caused. The other state universities like out in California have even bigger endowments - taxpayers in perpetuity. They can afford it, too.
No biggie. The US goooooooooooberment will subsidize the reconstrution provided the professors stay on track with the marxist ideology.
Then when the illegals come for their free housing, arrest and deport them all.

I still get a thrill remembering how the leader of the S.W.I.N.E. used his front teeth to assault the brass knuckles of the mob enforcers. Who says brass won’t make a spark! These did. Big ones at that!
We just shut down our protest using the “street preacher” rule. You are not allowed to “demonstrate” on campus without a permit. Two dozen “students” were arrested for trespassing.
So far this seems to be mostly elite Northeastern universities and a few on the West coast. If parents can’t find a good public university in their state, they can send their kids to a good public university in the South (and probably pay less, even with out-of-state tuition than they would pay for an Ivy League school).
