I've seent he ads for Northup with this 'RAT's endorsement.
That's nice to see.
I wonder if it's really as it appears though?
I wonder if Gorman has some kind of grudge against Miller...or something like that?
I think Northup has as safe a hold on the seat now as Romano Mazzoli used to. The question still begs, what is in it for Chris Gorman ? With all this talk about Sen. Bunning possibly resigning after the election and Rep. Northup being a strong choice for succeeding the Senator, perhaps Gorman is counting on her vacating the seat and appealing as a "moderate" for a special election (though he is doing himself no favors with his own party).
Kentucky 2nd amendment folks are somewhat fed up with her weak votes on the issue.
She could be taken out very easily by a conservative southern Democrat.
There must be something like that...an awful lot of Dems, and even the CJ, are being uncharacteristically kind to Anne this time around.
In Louisville? Doubtful.
Michael J Fox (Canadian actor) did a spot for Arlen Spector. Sounds like the Dims are trying to kiss up to fence-sitters in order to either swing them into the (I) column, or otherwise work with them after they lose seats in both houses of Congress.
Anne Nortup is defintely a rising star in the GOP. Her minority outreach program has proven dividends. She did garner 25% of the black vote in the KY-03. This is important for these were in hotly contestly races. Usually when a Republican gets more than 10% of the black vote, it is against a RAT who is grossly unfunded (Think 1998 TX Governor race or 2000 TN Senate race). Thus there can be something special about her. Northup would make an awesome Governor or Senator someday. In for conservatives to remain a viable force in America's changing landscape, we need to recruit more people like Anne Northup.
Is Michael J. Fox really a Canadian?
Yes.
