Jan Ting Kicks Off US Senate Campaign (Delaware)

Jan C. Ting formally kicked off his campaign for the United States Senate today by saying “If you want change, you have to vote for change. And I am the change agent.”

Ting, of Wilmington, used Legislative Hall in Dover as the backdrop for his announcement speech. Ting is a law professor at Widener Law School in Wilmington and Temple University in Philadelphia. He specializes in immigration, national security, and tax law, all of which he has made key themes of his campaign.

Among other things, he's a former Assistant INS Commissioner and law professor. His campaign is emphasizing border security, which he has expertise in.
