Jan Ting Kicks Off US Senate Campaign (Delaware)

Jan C. Ting formally kicked off his campaign for the United States Senate today by saying If you want change, you have to vote for change. And I am the change agent.
Ting, of Wilmington, used Legislative Hall in Dover as the backdrop for his announcement speech. Ting is a law professor at Widener Law School in Wilmington and Temple University in Philadelphia. He specializes in immigration, national security, and tax law, all of which he has made key themes of his campaign.

Dark horse means little-known candidate, a long shot. But in a tiny state like Delaware, grass-roots campaining makes more of an impact.
