KSTP/SurveyUSA Poll: Walz, Demmer in Close 1st District Race (Minnesota PING!)
KSTP-TV (ABC Affiliate in Minneapolis/St Paul) ^ | 10/15/10 | Tom Hauser - Staff Reporter

Folks, this is good news. Minnesota's 1st Congressional District (southern Minnesota) should have GOP representation - and Randy Demmer is the right guy for the job!

Current Dem Congressman Tim Walz is one of these guys who votes like a Pelosi clone in DC but acts like a moderate Dem when he's back in his district.

In short, let's send his ass back home to Mankato where he can resume boring the students at the high school he used to teach at.

Do you want to find out more about Randy Demmer?

You do? Good. I have a website for you:

http://www.demmerforcongress.com

For those of you geographically inclined, here's a map of the district:

Dems having to defend multiple fronts. That is why I say that if the Pubbies could squeak out a one vote majority in the Senate they have a good chance of overturning Obie’s agenda. Senate Dems up for reelection in 2012 and who read the “Tea Leaves” will vote in their own political best interests and it ain’t gonna be with Obie.

So many holes in the dyke and the dimoKKKRATS don’t have enough fingers to plug all the holes. We can only hope for a dimoKKKRAT nightmare come November 3.

This race has also gotten close. Walz leads by only a 47% to 42% margin.

EVERYONE please help Randy Demmer - Walz can be defeated. Walz is a fat, pompous, arrogant handmaiden for Pelosi.

Paulsen, Bachmann, and Kline are doing just fine. Time for the GOP, the PACs, and conservatives to spread some cash to Demmer's and Cravaack's races. Dick Morris notes:

The danger here is not overconfidence but underconfidence, and that Democratic incumbents who could be defeated will skate to victories. Despite a massive victory in the offing for Republicans, there could be great gnashing of teeth when they see how narrowly some of the icons of the Democratic Party are re-elected.

While groups like Karl Rove's American Crossroads, Americans for Prosperity, 60+ and the National Republican Congressional Committee are pouring their resources into the same 60 districts, there are 40 more out there where they could pick up seats. These groups may just be adding to their margins in the 60 and ignoring the potential for victory in the other 40.

I am working with superpacusa.com to focus on the outer 40, but few other groups are aimed at these targets.

Going after the more distant Democratic targets will also force the Democratic Party to pull its money out of the more marginal races as newly endangered -- and very influential -- Democrats start demanding help in fending off new GOP challenges.
