Coulter at CPAC: If we don’t run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee — and he’ll lose

An amazing clip considering Romney finished second, way ahead of the rest of the major GOP candidates (but behind predictable winner Ron Paul), in the CPAC straw poll. Plenty of grassroots righties would agree with the second part of Coulter’s statement (and some with the first part too), but for someone of her “true conservative” stature to drop it on a frontrunner at CPAC is shocking. And Mitt gets off relatively easy here, I think: Remember who it was who wrote the piece at Human Events in 2008 crowning Palin “conservative of the year”? Sarahcuda’s an afterthought in her formulation. Wow.

Around the same time that this was breaking on Twitter, Melissa Clouthier of Red State (who’s at the conference) claimed that Allen West answered a blogger’s question about GOProud by saying he’s for liberty for all Americans. We’ll have to wait for a direct quote to parse that further, but between him and Coulter, let me just say on behalf of myself and other RINOs everywhere: RINO-tastic! Click the image to watch.

Sorry, Ann. YOu lost cred with me when you welcomed the GOProud homos with open arms. If you fail to see the evil in the gay agenda & the subsequent detriment to our nation, then you ain’t too swift, IMHO.

LOL HOMOCON 2011

I’d vote for Christie before voting for Romney but Christie isn’t running.

I like what Christie’s doing in New Jersey. However, he is not conservative presidential material.

If New Jersey is happy with him, I’m fine with that. I’ve never lived there, so I don’t know what the realities are regarding the political climate. I have driven through there and think it has gotten too much bad press, because there are some lovely areas. We agree about Christie’s potential as a presidential candidate, though.

Christie is the biggest of the biggest RINO's. He has accomplished nothing in NJ except an extensive collection of You Tube speeches. He is open boarders, pro-islam sharia, anti-gun, pro Mike Castle, pro 911 mosque. This guy is a hack. He might be good by NJ standards, but that isn't saying much.

Don’t drive through the People’s Republic of New Jersey with a firearm in your vehicle ( EVEN LEGALLY) because you might end up in prison.

Ann is an anti-birther and her old boy friend was a Saudi prince and latest boyfriend was an old lib NYC developer or something. After she made fun of borthers - I dropped her.

Christie is not a bad guy but he is probably not conservative enough.

Don’t be stupid

Ann was invited (and paid) to give a speach. That’s kinda what she does for a living.

Not all fat people are bad. I’m slightly heavier than Governor Christie, though I do have the excuse of being two and a half years older than he is. LOL

Excuse me? Stupid?

Sir, I am well aware of making one’s living by being paid to give a speech. My issue is that Ann is a fake. She passes herself off as a “conservative” & a Catholic, but neither would endorse gays if they were true to their stated principles. I hardly think that be being true to my beliefs, I am the stoopid one.
