I never said the GOP was clueless, but they lack a messenger.

They’ll be doing a world “blame America” tour soon after Obama loses in 2012. He will do his level best to destroy the country.

Whatever is going on with her certainly seems out of character.

She misses her Chief of Mood Elevation, Huma Abedin ;-)

....if Hillary picked an attractive black woman as a VP...

Well, Condi would probably turn her down, so she'd probably have to pick a present or former member of the Congressional Black Caucus. Maxine Waters? Sheila Jackson Lee? Cynthia McKinney? Barbara Lee?

I want Zero to stay and go down with the sinking ship...and take all of the rats with him.

The Dems sold their political souls with him, let them pay for it.

You're right that there's not much to choose from and as someone who has a strong dislike for Dim's, I'm certainly not the person to know.

That said, perhaps someone like Rep Donna Edwards of Maryland or someone from the business community like Ursula Burns, CEO of Xerox...or a man like Kenneth I. Chenault, CEO of American Express (I have no idea whether Burns or Chenault are Democrats and would even be interested...just thought I would toss them out there).

That is our area. Ask your mom if she’d vote R, if Hillary were the Dem nominee. It’s amazing how many people have forgotten the Clinton record.
I will worry until Obama is formally nominated. He can be beaten easily. We are living his record now.

There's no way DC votes for the Republican candidate.
I wasn't suggesting that they would vote Republican. I was suggesting that they would vote Communist.

You're right about any Dem candidate having D.C. locked up. The big question in such a situation would whether the Republican or Communist candidate came in 2nd in D.C.

As someone suggested on another thread, we should back off Obama until its too late for the Democrats to find a replacement for him. THEN hit him with all we've got.

Good idea. In the meanwhile keep gathering bad press on him and Hillary.

“I think the scenario where they go out and riot is a little far-fetched,..”

I have noticed in my community these past 6 months an increase in the black population. All of them have said, when I’ve asked why they chose to move 60 miles outside a major metropolitan city, that they preferred someplace quiet without much crime or gang activity.

Uh-huh.

Not only can’t he understand how badly he’s doing, he doesn’t care.

The back room party guys of either party probably take a different, or more long term view than just until 2012.

For the democrats, supporting and helping to get Obama elected, they can keep the black demographic wing of the democratic party on the reservation for another generation. Any move against him for a short term damage control for 2012 would destroy the black demographic support. I don't think they have a choice but to support him through clenched teeth, go down with him, and write off 2012.

Especially if Cain is on the GOP ballot. Black business owners are going to tell their black employees, that the GOP is better for their job futures than the Democrats.
