He also laid out his five-point plan to create 12 million jobs in the United States.

The entire text of Romney's speech can be found here.

He literally said he’s going to help my family. Really. My family cannot take any more “help” from these bastards.

The implication of that post is that you've willingly accepted it in the past...

Help the American family by allowing private sector jobs to be created and keep more of their hard earned money rather than handouts and foodstamps that your beloved Obama wants to do.

Anyone who is not obsessed with taking your freedom day by day is helping you by preserving our rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - all of which have been waning for the last 42 months.

Hey, I can take “precious” a heck of a lot better than the “nose in the air” narcissist.

Romney made two major improvements:
1.) He had more fire in his belly.
2.) He simplified his 59 points into 5 points: “ - - - He also laid out his five-point plan to create 12 million jobs in the United States.”

One of his target audiences was those who voted for Obama, but now are disappointed.

Romney will try the Reagan technique of “growing the economy,” while Ryan talks about keeping Federal expenses to 20 % of the GDP.

Not much detail on what a spending “cut” means to Romney.

Not much detail on what regulations will be abolished.

Worst part of Romney’s speech is that he promises to replace Obama”care.”

I was a good speech, the best delivery I’ve seen Romney give, but vague on details. For example “I have a plan to create 12 million jobs in America.”

Duh Romney, what is your “plan?”

I don’t want to be unkind but that makes no sense. Please try again.

I’m an analytical, issues kind of guy, so it was not a speech designed for me. It was, however, a very good speech for what it was intended to be: an attempt to narrow the gender gap and an introduction of Romney as a man to be trusted.

If it's "help" from liberal bastards, I agree. But Romney is a businessman, and his vision of help is getting out of your way. That's just the kind help that my business and my family want from the government.

“Help” can mean getting out of your way so that you can work, start a business and not be told what to do by bureaucrats.

Better speech than McQueeg four years ago.....but still not sold on Romney. Now way in hell will I EVER vote for 0bama, but still can not in conscience vote for Romney.

Maybe if I lived in a swing state I’d vote for Romeny, but I live in CA and 0bama will never lose here. Leaves me free to vote a third party, leave the President slot blank or maybe write in and reverse the ticket (i.e Ryan/Romney).

Romney is not a narcissist, he is actually modest, as he is supposed to be. He knows how to put others first, unlike obama who has to be the first at everything or he pouts

I thought it was very good but I would have liked him to take it to Obama a little more.

Yep. So many of us are negative when we're in a period when we should positive about our prospects. We've come out of a great (shortened) convention with 3 days of fine speeches, a positive message, and ideas that will build our future; a future for America. Yet we're arguing? What the hell is this?

If we can't get behind this then we don't deserve to win. Then,we're the most dumb, stupid, idiotic people on earth, including the DUmp. for God's sake, people, get a clue. We have this to lose. Don't blow it.

Nailed it in a way I never expected. It made me proud to be on the side of the aisle I am on, and I haven’t felt that for a long time
**************************************************
Felt the same way.....I think he will be a great president and Ann will be a perfect first lady. The contrast between the Romneys and the obamas could not be more extreme. Voting for Romney is our only choice to save America.
