Fmr McCain Aide Schmidt Tells Maher GOP Can't Attract Cutting Edge Workers Because They're Anti-Gay

Former McCain aide Steve Schmidt told a apanel on Bill Maher which included California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom that the GOP lags in its tech and internet capability because it can't attract young, cutting edge workers. Why? They don't want to work for a bigoted party.

Said Schmidt.

"If you look at your first guest on talking about brilliant young people in computers who understand all this stuff [and] be at the cutting edge, it's difficult to make the case to work for a political party that wants to discriminate against their friend who happens to be gay. So we have an enormous problem because of some of our issues in the Republican party that are so out of step whether its with regard to women, gays, the anti-immigrant rhetoric, and it makes it difficult to attract the best and the brightest in this space."

The panel then moved on to CPAC and its rejection of Chris Christie, and Schmidt got thanks from Newsom for signing on to the GOP SCOTUS amicus brief....

Why should anyone take advice from a scumbag like Steve Schmidt?

He helped lose two GOP presidential elections in a row, and then blamed everyone but himself. Loser.

He should write a book telling political consultants what NOT to do.

Wallace’s recent appearance on America Live with Megyn Kelly was positively sickening. She espoused the living Constitution theory. Megyn, thankfully, called her out on the idea of a living Constitution being a liberal viewpoint.

The comments at that site say his sister is a lesbian, but having observed him over the years, I’m guessing she is not the only GLBTQ member of that family.

Schmidt was doing more than attacking Palin after the election. he was leaking lies and distortions behind the scenes during the election, effectively sabotaging the entire campaign, but in his case "anatomy is destiny!" McLame put him in charge and deserved to lose. Unfortunately, so did the rest of us!

Schmidt is a drag queen jealous of a real woman whose twice the woman he would like to be!

So the little boy says we are out of step in regards to women?? Really?? When does the faux war on women end, just curious, I doubt I can stomach anymore of this nonsense.
Toss in the anti-gay brigade and call it a day.

Can this country get back to being sane, please!

Here is a question for researchers. Do unemployed people support or oppose the right of Gays to get married?

I think this is important because the “unemployed” is a growing constituency. I think they far outnumber the “cutting edge employee.”

Reminds me of something from the animated show “Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist” from the 90s. His constantly underachieving son Ben, played by H. Jon Benjamin ( Archer ), is talking to Laura the receptionist about what he wants to do with his life.

Ben: “I'd like to be the guy who yells “gooooal!” in soccer.”

Laura: “I think he's already that guy.”

Point is that if we want to give up every value the party once had then why do we need a party. Might as well turn Democrat.

This comment at the site says it all about Schmidt:

“In 1995, Steve Schmidt managed the unsuccessful campaign for Kentucky Attorney General of Will T. Scott, who is now a Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court... In 1998, Schmidt ran California State Senator Tim Leslie’s unsuccessful race for Lt. Governor of California. Also that year, he was the Communications Director for California State Treasurer Matt Fong’s unsuccessful campaign to unseat U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer. In 1999, he was the Communications Director for Lamar Alexander’s presidential run, leaving in June when the campaign reduced its senior staff.

Then there was the 2008 McCain presidential campaign. I’m sensing a pattern here. Is he related to Bob Shrum?”

Tell Steve Schmidt to "GO TO HELL !"
May he be the first to burn!

Those who support homosexuals are against our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
These anti Christ people only bring destruction on us ALL.
I have NO sympathy for homosexuals!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.
Someone once asked The answer is in the definition of "REPROBATE". And the reason"why" is given in the Bible.

God has a cure for homosexuals.

My son-in-law is web design genius and a Republican/libertarian. He’s religious and certainly does not approve of the homosexual lifestyle.

More like a tag team. Shrum is the clown that went after Herman Cain.
