A top GOP critic pushed back Sunday on charges that Republican efforts to investigate last year's Benghazi attack are designed to inflict political damage on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"Hillary Clinton's not a target," said House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa on NBC's Meet the Press. "President Obama is not a target."
Issa, who heads a panel probing the assault on the diplomatic outpost that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, said he will seek depositions from Benghazi review board heads Ambassador Thomas Pickering and retired Adm. Mike Mullen, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff....

Sure. We can be reasonable and we can ONLY wait to see. No power to do anything else and the GOP doesn’t care what we think. But history is what it is.

Issa answered very wisely. With the democrats and the media in hysterics over the republicans ‘politicizing’ and beating a dead horse, it’s obvious there is a lot to come down. In Watergate, the House and Senate committees started with the low-level players and as the cover-up unfolded it moved up and up till it got to the Atty General, Chief of Staff and eventually Nixon.
This has the makings of a much more severe cover-up with some pretty mediocre or downright piss-poor minds running the Obama Administration. Hillary is arrogant, cold and self-serving enough to have done this. we’ll get to it in time.

Jody Arias was the target of aggressive prosecutors in the
just concluded ex-boyfriend murder trial in Phoenix.
Because the prosecutors were so aggressive does that mean
Arias was something other than guilty?
If Clinton is blameless then what the hell difference does it
make when it comes to the motives of her pursuers? When
has political considerations ever slowed Democrats whenever
they have smelled Republican smoke? If Hilleriot is as pure
as the wind driven snow then she needs to jump right in
the middle of this to make fools of her enemies......Well?

The proper thing to do is follow the evidence to where it leads, not set up a target and assemble evidence to get there. I’m impressed with Issa’s approach thus far, but concerned that, when push comes to shove, he and the Oversight Committee have no legal clout. When heads roll over this it will not be the Oversight Committee with the chopping block.
Well then wtf is Issa investigating? Just another dead end dog and pony show.
These Hillary lovers make me sick. She rode her husband’s coat tails to the Senate where she failed, she lost to Obama and she failed as secretary of state. This is a big country. Surely we can do better than these corrupt recycled politicians.
