55% say Obama, and it’s a very low number so far.

If people can’t even create an account or login, how was this application ever tested? Testers could not have gotten further. I suspect the undiscovered bugs go far deeper, and will be causing problems for years.

Ask anyone in IT what you get when you build a seriously complex application in a few months.

Their warning is a best case scenario. It will almost certainly be far worse.

The answers to your questions:
1. There was no time to test.
2. Yep.
3. Not just causing problems for years. Probably virtually unusable for at least a year.

The problems may be fundamental. If the Business Analysts didn’t do their jobs, we may have an app that needs to be scrapped and re-worked from the requirements gathering phase.

I’ve been in IT since the early 1980’s. I’ve seen this before. I’ve seen a company go out of business because of an overly complex app that was thrown into production with an overly ambitions schedule driven by management instead of reality.

And any app that is designed to handle the complexities and subtleties of obamacare is going to go bust. If they come out with an app that pre-loads your name on a form you can then print they will have gotten a long way.

Frankly, this is a schadenfreude moment for me. I’m beginning to think we should get out of the way and let Obamacare do its thing. The R’s and TEA party will sweep every 2014 election.

Obamacare will bring months of 'glitches' Obama now says

And then will really crash and burn once January starts and people expect to get treatment.

I used to be a computer programmer - in a past life - and as an independent contractor, I ran into this more often than not.

They request a program, you give them your “expectations” form and they complete it. You build the program based on their “expectations”. Then, once you are done, they come back and say, “It doesn’t do this or this or that, I am not paying for your program.” I show them the “expectations” that THEY completed and they look at me like I was supposed to know that this other stuff was needed.

This app was written on BS promises, with BS expectations and BS numbers. No “glitches” they fix in the next year are going to repair the overall BS upon which this was built! PERIOD!

They pulled that media trick of separate choices for Obama and the Democrats but they are still being crushed.

Barry ought to just tell the truth on Obamacare - the software hasn't been written and tested and the thing isn't even ready from the technical side - if it ever will be. No one has tried to link all those different computer systems before.

That’s great news, but let’s not get cocky. We need to remember that the media will work double time to defeat our candidates.

It will grow exponentially. And the worst is yet to come... Or maybe it’s the “best,” I’m waiting for this spoiled narcissistic illegal alien, muslim traitor to implode during one of his tantrums. I’m sure the event is coming soon...it would be nice to see it take place in public... ;o]

(I keep a supply of popcorn on hand...)

(Hope springs eternal!)

All we will need then are the impeachment actions to be not only approved but set into motion. He can “recover” in prison, while the Spite House is fumigated.

I’ve been in IT since the early 1980’s.

You've got a few years on me - just a few...

Schedule driven by management (think: Dilbert's boss) + government project (translation: politically driven) = guaranteed failure.
