Poll: Clinton has big edge in advance of 2016 elections
MSN News ^ | December 10, 2013 | Steven Thomma

At this early stage for the 2016 presidential campaign, it’s Hillary’s world, and everyone else just lives in it.

Hillary Clinton dominates the potential field of candidates for the Democratic nomination by huge margins, with a more than 5-to-1 advantage over her nearest rival and more than doubling the support of everyone else combined, according to a new McClatchy-Marist Poll. The Republican race is wide open, with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slightly ahead. And Clinton has an edge or outright lead over any of them.

“It’s Hillary versus the pack for the nomination,” said Lee Miringoff, director of The Marist College Institute for Public Opinion in New York, which conducted the poll.

“There is no strong contender against her,” he said. “She doesn’t want to use the word inevitable, but these numbers are as wide as they can get. She’s jogging around the track by herself.”

The former first lady, senator and secretary of state enjoys lopsided support among Democrats and Democratic-leading independents.....

Obama is taking all of the oxygen. He is probably the only Democrat that most people know by name, except for Hillary.

The only chance Hillary has of losing the nomination is if the MSM decides she has to go and reports all of the horrible things she has done and mistakes she has made.

But why would they do that? She's a woman and to do that would be sexist.

Remember when we thought Mitt had no chance of being the Republican nominee? Remember when all of a sudden it wasn't that he had no chance, but that there was a chance someone else, anyone else, would get the nomination? Remember when he got the nomination after all?

That's what's going to happen with Hillary. There will be times when she may look down, or even down and out, but in the end she will be the nominee.

Whether the Republicans will nominate someone who can beat Hillary, and whether enough American's will be able to see through the cloud of lies that the MSM will shower upon the electorate are still open questions.

P.S.: I really don't want to be around FR if Christie gets the nomination and we have to go through the same rigamarole of:

1. If you support Christie you're not welcome on FR.
2. Anyone but Christie.
3. Well here's a list of good things about Christie.
4. I know he's not that great, but he's better than Hillary.
5. A vote for a third party candidate is a vote for Hillary.
6. Oh gosh! It looks like Christie might actually pull this off!
7. Damn, that bitch Hillary won! Why the heck did those RINOs give us such a crappy candidate to vote for?
8. The Republican Party is dead. We should all leave and form a third party.
etc.

LOL-You’re right.

But remember, FR is but a drop in the conservative bucket.

Make her testify UNDER OATH. No more phony fainting spell evasions: subpoena, swear in, testify. What happened at Benghazi?

C’mon Republicans it’s a two-fer. We need to know what happened at Benghazi, AND as bonus you can damage Clinton politically - which is just gravy.

Subpoena her and if she doesn’t comply arrest her.

Get off your a**es and do you job as Congress members - we need to know what happened at Benghazi. Do your job, nevermind being a competent opposition party - which you’re not.

Sort of makes me wish Ted Cruz was a Hispanic female so as to cancel out the first woman president advantage Hillary could get when running against a man.

Perhaps we could just stick a frock on Cruz and run him as the first transgender, conservative republican candidate. lol

They said the same thing about her in 2007, before a first term senator no one had ever heard of ran circles around her.

Believe it?

Hugh Hewitt posed that question to Charles Krauthammer recently:

HH: So I ran through all of these candidates – Christie, Kasich, Walker, Jindal, Cruz, Rubio, Thune, Ryan, Paul, and you mentioned Mitch Daniels, and I probably have missed someone. Can any of them beat Hillary?

CK: Every single one can beat Hillary. Hillary’s a paper tiger. Hillary was inevitable in ’08 and what happened to inevitability? I don’t think she’s that, I think she can win, of course. And I think she’ll get the nomination by acclamation for religious reasons.

HH: (laughing)

CK: She’s worshipped by the Democrats. But I don’t think that translates necessarily. The idea that she’s a shoe-in for the presidency I think is just ridiculously wrong. I don’t think she’s a great campaigner. You know, she’s got her strengths, but let me ask you this. You know the hyperbole about her being Secretary of State? Name me one thing she achieved in the four years. One. I’m not asking for Kissinger-China-Middle East, I’m not asking for a Baker, I’m not asking for a George Schultz or a George Marshall. Tell me one thing she achieved in the four years.

HH: No, that, I have posed that question to Politico reporters before, and they can’t come up with anything, because there isn’t anything, Charles.

CK: She traveled a lot.

HH: Yup.

CK: Well, so do I.

If the Republicans take the Senate in 2014, there should be non-stop Benghazi hearing in congress starting from January 2015.

By Spring of next year, much less 2016, having the word “Democrat” after your name should be about as poisonous as having “KKK,” “al Qaeda” or “pedophile” there once tens of millions of more people have their insurance cancelled and see what the exchanges have to offer.

I don’t. I believe that HRC has screwed up so badly and so many times that I cannot vote for her.

She’s got the edge. She’s got the edge all right, until, some body, anybody, an illegal immigrant, NAMBLA member, from Neptune’s largest moon, Triton, enters the race and then, end up as DMV Regional Coordinator in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

GOP is worthless. Rather than seek to forestall it, I now prefer to hasten the collapse.

Hillary will play the gender card the same way Obama played the race card with the media’s backing. All criticism will be deemed part of a sexist war on women regardless of the merits. That’s her 2016 game plan...and the GOPe will have no clue how to counter it.

Re your post 3: right on target. That is exactly what we can expect.

There is no doubt that the RNC will get behind a RINO again and that RINO will get the nomination.

That’s why I cast my last vote last year.

It is all in the Alynsky posturing. She is not coming out the closet on it, but like all the others she wants to ultimately be declared the ueber advanced race of America. If you reject her now it is merely “racist”. Tomorrow it will be an offence on the higher worshiped female gaia savior of the world.

It is in how they want to be treated that their true fantasies of their selves and their man behind the curtain thug scam art appears implicitly just beneath the surface.

And people still vote for this garbage.
