Lamar Alexander Embraces Amnesty Again after Primary Win

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

It didn't take long for Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) to embrace amnesty again.

As soon as he won his Senate primary election against conservative Joe Carr, Alexander said it was "embarrassing" that Republicans have not yet passed a bill.

Never mind that Alexander spent nearly his entire primary campaign trying to convince voters that he was against "amnesty" and would never dare to embrace it before the primary election.

“I don’t know how it will affect our politics in the near term," Alexander told Politico of a comprehensive immigration bill. “I think it’s embarrassing for us not to deal with the problem, and I think we should do it in the next two years.”

And though Alexander claimed that he won the primary because he did not run away from his record, he aired a deceptive ad in the final week of the campaign that claimed he "voted to end amnesty."(continued)

Vote for the Democrat in the general election.

It'll be worth it!

In order for Conservatives to eventually prevail in elected government, first the GOP MUST BE DESTROYED.

The short term damage by defeating GOPe traitors pales in comparison to the long term damage they inflict on us.

We do have a voice, but our own people won’t let us express it!

Those are not OUR people. Not unless you consider yourself part of the Ruling Class Oligarchy.

The 'little people', we Conservatives - are being rendered politically-irrelevant by both Parties that are in reality - ONE party: The State; the Federal Beast.

While Tennessee will at least never vote for a Democrat, both Senators and the Governor are RINO vermin. We The People need to establish more effective deterrents, both in quantity and quality, to stop such vermin from lying. Maybe we should pass a law mandating that politicians wear shock collars, and that the body politic can hold a vote at any time to administer a 20 amp shock at the politician. Really, anything which makes politics a higher-risk profession than it is now should be seriously considered.

Who are the idiots that voted for this guy?

In an open primary? The DEMs voted for him. IIRC Dem primary voting numbers were low compared to GOP. Plus the DEMs weren't running serious opposition. The Liberal newspapers in the state adore him.

The only thing as good or better in the DEMs eyes than holding a seat is having Liberal Republican Moron Schmucks hold them and high positions in the GOP making the party ineffective. Hurray for the party../sarcasm.

TN people must think denying Gore the presidency is all they will ever again be required to do. So they make up for voting against Gore with Republicans in the Gore-mold.
