Freeper Interview Series: Lazamataz
Patriot Paradox ^
Posted on 10/13/2003 4:59:45 AM PDT by sonsofliberty2000
The latest interview in the Freeper Interview Series is now up at Patriot Paradox. The interview is with Lazamataz, and here are some highlights:
Pets?
Soon. I discovered I am a natural with dogs. I had a minipin named Thor that I invested a lot of hours with. Inside of one year, I had the dog trained to -- on both hand signals and voice commands -- Jump, Sit, Stay, Down, and Speak. One day I had him Sit, then Stay, and the phone rang. I ran upstairs, answered it, then got on the 'net for a while. I decided to get a coke from the fridge, and there was Thor -- 15 minutes later! -- STILL IN THE SAME POSITION.
Needless to say, my puppy got LOTS of love and GOOD treats for that one. What a good little dog. I miss him like crazy.
Who would you say is the most dangerous person alive today?
France.
All of them.

The FIS is an series of interviews with Freepers to help us understand where our compatriots are coming from. Interviews will be posted twice weekly and we hope this helps us unite and stir up the conservative base. If you have a suggestion of a Freeper who merits interviewing, let me know by Freepmail. Suggesting your own self is perfectly acceptable.

I decided to get a coke from the fridge, and there was Thor -- 15 minutes later! -- STILL IN THE SAME POSITION. So consumed with getting back on line, it never occured to him his dog was dead.

What hobbies do you enjoy?
"Writing satirical news articles is fun."
I missed a great opportunity when I folded up The PlanetTimes when I was within mere years of hammering out an agreement with Laz to do some writing for it.

He's not dead, he's pining for the fiords.
To: the gillman@blacklagoon.com
SHOPKEEPER |
It's probably pining for the fiords. |
PRALINE |
Pining for the fiords, what kind of talk is that? Look, why did it fall flat on its back the moment I got home? |
SHOPKEEPER |
The Norwegian Blue prefers kipping on its back. Beautiful bird, lovely plumage. |
PRALINE |
Look, I took the liberty of examining that parrot, and I discovered that the only reason that it had been sitting on its perch in the first place was that it had been nailed there. |
SHOPKEEPER |
Well of course it was nailed there. Otherwise it would muscle up to those bars and voom. |
PRALINE |
Look matey (picks up parrot) this parrot wouldn't voom if I put four thousand volts through it. It's bleeding demised. |
SHOPKEEPER |
It's not, it's pining. |
PRALINE |
It's not pining, it's passed on. This parrot is no more. It has ceased to be. It's expired and gone to meet its maker. This is a late parrot. It's a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn't nailed it to the perch, it would be pushing up the daisies. It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-parrot. |

Good interview with one of FR's legendary posters.
I noticed that he remained oddly silent about the alpaca, though...
