I think we need to drop ol' Khalid off in Gitmo.

From 30,000 feet...without a parachute.

Call it "a gravity lesson."

U.S. Develops New Theory on Pearl Slaying

WASHINGTON (AP) -- American authorities investigating the killing of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in Pakistan now believe that he was slain by the hand of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Authorities, who had previously cast doubt on reports of Mohammed's role, now have new information that leads them to believe he killed Pearl, said one U.S. official who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The official declined to detail the evidence.

The U.S. acknowledgment of Mohammed's suspected role was first reported in Tuesday's editions of the Journal.

Pearl, the Journal's South Asia bureau chief, was abducted on Jan. 23, 2002, while working on a story on Islamic militants in Karachi.

Four days later, the Journal and other media outlets received pictures of Pearl with a gun to his head. A group calling itself the National Movement for the Restoration of Pakistani Sovereignty claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and demanded the release from U.S. custody of suspected Taliban and al-Qaida fighters.

In early February, Pakistani police identified Ahmad Omar Saeed Sheikh, an Islamic militant with a history of kidnapping foreigners, as a prime suspect in Pearl's abduction. He was detained and said Pearl was dead.

A Pakistani court has since given Sheikh a death sentence for his involvement in Pearl's killing. He is appealing.

Other people with ties to the Pakistani militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi have been arrested in connection with the killing.

Investigators obtained videotapes apparently showing Pearl being killed as his throat was cut. It was unclear from the pictures who killed him. His body was found in May.

Mohammed was captured in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, on March 1. The CIA is interrogating him at an undisclosed location. Since his detention, U.S. officials have connected him to more and more al-Qaida and associated operations over the last decade.

"We continue to hope that all those responsible for Danny's kidnap and murder are brought to justice," said Brigitte Trafford, a spokeswoman for the Journal, who said the paper had no other comment on the investigation.

I think we need to "execute" him, then start getting answers from him. Then he'll really be "drop shipped" back to his old stomping grounds.

We have to find out everything he knows first.

If he just confessed to this, what other little tidbits is he holding back?

Send him to Gitmo, try him for murder in a court martial and STING HIM UP in front of the others as an object lesson.

Or better yet, invite the Mossad to 'take custody' of him in front of the other prisoners.

I'm more concerned with what sick men like these guys do on this earth.

I suggest a summary firing squad for this criminal.

I don't know about others here on FR but I am sick of this TYPE OF NEWS reporting and recently have stopped reading reports based on an ANNONYMOUS source. Between annonymous source reporting and reporting "NEWS" based on POLLS there is very little NEWS at all.

Y'know, you may have a money maker here. If everybody was willing to pledge a dollar a foot of drop plus pay-per-view fees, you could collect enough money to pay off the OIF debt, make a dent in the deficit, and provide enough money to buy a balloon for Khalid's big jump.

Remember CPT Joe Kittenger's jump from 102,800 feet?

Not sure if this is true, but John Loftus has an interesting take on KSM and Abu Zubayda. They are being held by us of course, but they themselves do not know where they are. They believe they are in Saudi Arabia, but they aren't (Loftus doesn't know where they are) actually there. This is the main reason why we cannot allow lawyers for Mousaaoui to speak to them.

You are half right re the Beltway Snipers. The correct answer is a two part answer:

1. The internation head of al Fuqra, murdered Danny Pearl to prevent him from telling the reality of al Fuqra in the Wall Street Journal.

2. John Muhammed, the lead DC Sniper was a member of the American Franchise of hate, al Fuqra. Below is the advance search on Yahoo re his connections with al Fuqra:

Yeah, true, but Christians didn't say He walked on water in a Moslem Mosque in Mecca. Muslims need to make their own religion, instead of stealing from everyone else's. That's the source of all the problems with them.

Well the person in jail and sentenced to die for the murder of Pearl, is Sheik Omar Saeed.

He is educated in public school in the UK and was one of those released in 2000 from New Delhi prison after the highjackers of a Air India flight in Kathmandu flew to Kabul in Afghanistan.

So someone is really getting mixined up here, if they want to now name Mohammad as the killer, then Sheik Saeed must be set free and it would seem the whole case was a fabrication by the Pakistani and US government.
