I know that the Islamic scriptures do not back up what GW says, but our soldiers in Iraq are meeting many wonderful people in Iraq. It's too bad that the cult laymembers are intimidated from speaking out for fear of fatwah.

I see what Bush is doing. He lavishes praise on Muslims who are conforming, even if in a very limited or tentative manner, to raised expectations, while seeming to give no notice to lapses or outright defiance. Of course, when patience is exhausted, as with an unruly child, a little stern discipline is applied.

The Mighty Hammer of Infinite Justice in the Fist of Allah. You may not believe in it. But the Muslims do.

Good for President Bush. We'll have to watch the chronic naysayers and knuckle-draggers filter in to claim how much better and knowledgeable they are at forming foreign policy than President Bush is, and some of their names aren't Dean and Kerry and Pelosi.

No he is not retarded, despite all appearances to the contrary. To say these words ``We know that Islam is fully compatible with liberty and tolerance and progress because we see the proof in your country and in our own,.....Terrorists who claim Islam as their inspiration defile one of the world's greatest faiths. Murder has no place in any religious tradition. It must find no home in Indonesia.''
Has no knowledge of history or of religion.
He is nothing but a lapdog for his corporate sponsors who have every reason to continue doing business with people who hate us.

Very well said. Some of the geniuses around here would have Bush declare war on 1.3 billion people. What's the point of rebuilding Iraq if we're going fight a war against one fifth of the human race (and against most Iraqis)?

Those who ignore how friendly the Iraqis are to our soldiers are (in my mind) close to being traitors to the US war effort. In my mind, it doesn't make much difference whether that treachery comes from the sanctimonious and self-righteous left, or the sanctimonious second-guessing right.

Support our troops. Support President Bush.

It's called wartime, and the time is now.

Reason #234,753 that no one calls you "Mr. President." Only D.U. trolls call President Bush "nothing but a lapdog for his corporate sponsors." Hope y'all enjoy the company you keep.
