I would be honored.

I'll tell you, my 14 years of training in "the arts" has led me to become a non-violent person under almost all circumstances. But this story has me angry enough...

Thank you! I wasn't seeing anything on the major outlets or gopbi. Are they sure she is moved, or repeating just what the nurse told them?

You could buy a clue. Brain-damaged is not the same as PVS or coma.

I got it, thanks. My original post on this thread was that she was back at the hospice, but it was shot down.

If you had ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) and you were facing spending your final year of life with your mental capacities in tact, but your body jello, would you want that?

Ask Stephen Hawking.

Who knows? I question the motives behind everything they're doing or have done at this point.

Actually, a little birdie needs to remind them that attempted murder doesn't get the Needle, but Murder in the First Degree does.

If I remember correctly, Florida has "Old Sparky", and not the Needle ... I think Old Sparkey would be less humane and more fittin' for this perp, don't you?

Then does MS fear that if Terri recovers, she pecks out something on a computer keyboard or something like that? Does MS fear not just loss of insurance money, but also a life prison term (some of the prison population may make that a short life prison term)?

That is precisely what I inferred.

She was missing, as far as the family was concerned. The facts are still being sorted out.

OK, I admit I am sort of new to this case. Let's see if I can summarize what appears to be the case:

Some years ago Terri has a heart attack and somehow brain damage results (I presume from some form of malpractice). She stays in this vegetative state for several years before Mike finally tries to have her food tube taken out. A court battle ensues since the parents and family of Terri want her to live. Mike meanwhile has a kid by another woman and she is also pregs again. There seems to be some past here with abuse to Terri and that perhaps there is a trust fund of some sort in her name. He wins a judgment of lots of money for the malpractice suit. He claims to be only following what Terri told him, but to a degree that is almost maniacal. The court allows the tube to be shut down and this takes place. Jeb steps in and stays the court order by legislative fiat. Mike still wants her dead. He keeps the family away from her.

Now, any impartial observer has to ask these questions: why does he want her PARENTS and SIBLINGS to stay away? why with all this notoriety does he persist in this fight? does he have any motive for killing her? was she poisoned with KCl? why, when she was first in this state did he not have her disconnected? why is he so poisoned against his in-laws?

If the hospital discharged her this soon, It's probablybecause any medical intervention to stabalize her was declined. Especially since she was returned to the house of death.

What is the penalty for violating the governor's stay order? I bet the penaly for violation is less than that of attempted murder. Could it even be a misdemeanor?

You know; you have a point. She isn't "missing...W/O familys consent", legally Michael is her family, and he consented. If she has her tube in and is rehydrated, then the law was complied with. Did the law state she was to stay there? I don't think so.

Maybe consider changing the thread title or removing it altogether. Has FR become a forum of ambulance chasers (literally)? Let's be a little more careful.
