More on Jerger, from the same page on Free Republic...
Swings don't faze investors
Two and a half years ago, Jerger and his two brothers sold their Pinellas Park insurance agency, which specialized in mobile home insurance, and retired early. One brother bought a ranch outside Tallahassee; another bought a motor home and travels the states. Jerger, who's taken up skiing in early retirement, said he might go back into some kind of business, but out of boredom, not need.
From Infotrac
Philadelphia Business Journal, August 27, 1999 v18 i29 p5(1) Insurer dropping out of health care market. (Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp.)(Statistical Data Included) Peg Brickley.

The move will save it money while it pursues other niches
Philadelphia Consolidated Holding Corp. is scaling back its nursing home and assisted living facility insurance business, but pressing onward with plans to grow its dozens of other specialty insurance niches. [snip]
"Our focus is on underwriting profit. We have 50 different niches, including all the new ones from Jerger," the insurance executive said.
In mid-July, Philadelphia Consolidated paid $45 million in a cash and stock deal for The Jerger Company Inc. and its subsidiaries. If the acquired business highly specialized mobile home and homeowners property and casualty lines - goes well, another $5 million could he paid out to Jerger's former owners.
"The key thing with Jerger is that they are personal lines," Sweeney said. "We are getting personal lines expertise to add to our commercial lines."
Richard M. Jerger is on the Board of the St. Petersburg College Development Foundation, Inc.

I posted a link in post #294 where doctors liabilities can be checked.
Dr. Igel was one of her doctors and according to the info on that site Dr. Igel paid out 2,000,000 on 1/20/1993 for something that occurred on 2/02/1990
Would that be about the time when this happened to Terri
Her other doctor, Dr. Prawer paid out 250,000 about the same time

Richard Jerger is a member of THE Jerger Family. Formerly, a big name in insurance of mobile homes, especially, in Florida Could Jodi be related to them? The records show that she worked for Jerger & Sons 1999-2000 and remained employed there under the new name of Liberty American Ins Co in 2001. In 2002 she is no longer listed, however the same year Richard and Catherine show up as directors for Jerger & Centonze. Why would a 'big' family like this agree to lend their name and support to a new company with few assests unless it was family related?

Thanks for doing all the work on this question!
So the atty is just inflating the wins he's had.
Well, that makes a lot more sense then. Good to have it spelled out like this.

I do not know squat about a computer....what are "mirror links"? I have seen drudge or someone link to those - I guess what I am trying to ask is, if someone finds something, can it be copied to a mirror site and linked so it can't be removed? Only if what I am asking is legal of course. Am I even asking the right question??

I have been staying away the Teri threads because I get to angry I mean really angry.
However I do care about and certainly have Teri in my prayers.
Bottom line though can someone tell me short and to the point how is Teri?
Is she recieving her G tube feedings ok?
Is she out of danger from Micheal euthenizing (sp) her?
Thanks to all who are fighting/advocating for her.

Hmmmm, yes that would be about right, timewise. The Schindler's response to LKL interview said that Michael received the settlement money in January of 1993, and Terri's collapse was in Feb. of 1990. Now, Michael and Terri's malpractice lawyers probably got about a third of that (I think that's pretty standard?), so they would have ended up with about $1.3M from Igel. Prower paid out $250,000, but subtract lawyers fees and their payout there would be about $162,500, so total to trust account from malpractice suits would be about $1,462,500. Add to that another $50,000 from community fundraising, and that matches pretty well with what's on Terrisfight.org as to what went into the trust fund.

I don't think she can ever be out of danger until George W. Greer (and Demers too) are removed from her case. Pinellas Co. seems to be a very corrupt part of FL, with the judges and the sheriff all being a party to plans to kill this disabled woman. In many way, none of this makes any sense at all.
Perhaps those who murder a spouse, rather than divorce them and, in the liberals' language "move on," are doing so for financial reasons. Such people consider the cost of a divorce so unacceptable that they would instead murder a former "loved one."
