"Just wait 'til the next four years of homeschoolers hit the job market, politics, the pulpit and the press. The libs aren't gonna know what hit them." It is my considered belief that the conservative surge that is reviving the country right now is based in the past ten years of homeschooling. - Here in California, 62% of voters voted for a republican candidate for governor in the recall election. (If you don't think that's remarkable, perhaps you just don't know much about California's politics)

"she responds to communication, recognizes her family
I do not claim expert knowledge of this controversy, however, it appears to me that this statement is exactly what is at the heart of this issue. The woman's parents contend the above is true, her husband contends that it is false."
---
Actually, the husband's first attorney said she knew her husband. It wasn't until Felos took over that they changed the story and said she didn't recognize anyone.
"During the trial, attorneys for the Schiavos showed a film of a day in Mrs. Schiavo's life at Sabal Palms Nursing Home in Largo. Although she's in a vegetative state, said St. Petersburg lawyer Glenn Woodworth, 'you can tell she has some sense of her predicament".... (On the film) she knows her husband and looks into his eyes.'"

Terri all spiffed up in a trip to the mall salon, before 1992 trial.
Terri is not in coma or PVS (see exam & evaluations above)
It is Michael who needs to let go and get on with his life.
Let Terri go home to her family.

Thanks for the ping! One of the most frightening things about this case is that, whatever happens to Terri Schiavo, Mephisto-Felos will still be walking around loose to strike again!

Great article! I read another article this week that characterized this case not as a quality-of-life issue but a value-of-life issue. How true!

I'm currently reading George Felos book, "Litigation for Spiritual Practice." In a chapter entitled "The Weekend from Hell" (page 23), Felos wrote about his desire to kill his ex-wife, "I was on fire, fueled by thoughts of bludgeoning and tearing her apart. If she was there at that moment, I thought I would kill her - happily destroy her." Felos and his wife were going through a divorce.
I considered myself reasonably attactive and carried few major bad habits. I loved her. And I was dumped. Not even for another man. Had I been a lout or had she enamored herself with someone else, perhaps the rejection would have been easier.
Felos further wrote about his ex-wife on page 7, "To her, I seemed unattractive, sexually unexciting, balding, boring and just not fun enough to be with."
Felos describes his experience with Estelle Browning in the chapter "Soul-Speak", page 73: "As I continued to stay beside Mrs. Browning at her nursing home bed, I felt my mind relax...As Mrs. Browning lay motionless before my gaze, I suddenly heard a loud, deep moan and scream and wondered if the nursing home personnel heard it and would respond to the unfortunate resident. In the next moment, as this cry of pain and torment continued, I realized it was Mrs. Browning. I felt the mid-section of my body open and noticed a strange quality to the light in the room. I senses her soul in agony. As she screamed I heard her say in confusion, "Why am I still here...why am I here?" My soul touched hers and in some way I communicated that she was still locked to her body. I promised I would do everything in my power to gain the release her soul cried for. With that, the screaming immediately stopped. I felt like I was back in my head again, the room resumed its normal appearance, and Mrs. Browning...lay silent."
The book consists of 318 pages of Felos's rambling about his spiritual powers (he claims he has the psychic power to influence people's thinking process) and to change the outcome of events.

According to a Greek Orthodox priest who writes on the Orthodox Today website, he is a "fallen son" of the Greek Orthodox Church.
That is very telling as to the kind of person, felos is. He is a new age wacko!
