You mean the defense's mitochondrial DNA guy? Those people on the other site decided to save their money to buy transcripts of the lay witnesses. Although I hear that this Dr. Shields' testimony and cross were actually quite... lively.
To: trebb
because of advance decomposition of the bodies then. ;o)

Exactly!

If those particles match particles or fibers in SP's truck, house, warehouse...Bingo.Bingo would be a good thing! I'm curious as to what other items they may have found in the bay. If they did find cement anchors....that'd be another bingo.

Hey, hey! Rb, it looks like Mr. Sabatino's views on moving the trial did him in. Not to mention the recent indictment on a different matter ...
Is that the same Ridenour?
Modesto City Council Election Results:
(11/04/03 - 10:45PM, 115 of 119 precincts counted, 96.64%)
Modesto City Mayor
Bev Finley 10,184 votes 42.08%
Jim Ridenour 9,129 votes 37.72%
Carmen Sabatino 3,434 votes 14.19%
Steven Grenbeaux 1,438 votes 5.94%
Write-in 16 votes 0.07%
To: clouda
That is hysterically funny!
To: pinz-n-needlez
LOL! Was duct tape involved?
To: RGSpincich
I'm sick of Mayor Sabatino--and I don't even live in Modesto, nor have I ever been there!
I believe our Ridenour is named Doug.
To: RGSpincich
I think Jim Ridenour is Det Ridnenour's brother, or kinfolk? He is a republican.. On Bev Finely, stanislaus computer did a hiccup and caused a computer error code which it won't read the scantron type voting ballots... they are to fix it this morning... I think she is a democrat...
only 10k votes counting so far? ....geezish, you'd think of a population of ovr 200k now, more would vote? ;o)

YES!! YES!!! Part one of 2 charter amendments I was trying to get some political wonks to become part of the growth in political status in Modesto:
"Only two consecutive terms allowed
Modesto mayors and council members were on their way to being forced out of office after two terms, thanks to a term-limit proposal that voters were approving Tuesday.
With about 97 percent of votes counted, Measure K was passing narrowly after a nearly identical effort failed two years ago.
Advocates for term limits argued that long-serving politicians get too complacent in office and that rotating them out is healthy for citizens.
But opponents countered that the system is working because Modesto mayors and council members serve on average less than six years, which falls below the new term-limit threshold.
The last Modesto mayor whose term spanned longer than the proposed limit was Lee Davies, who served from 1967 to 1979. Dick Lang served as a city official for a total of 22 years, most of that as a councilman.
A termed-out elected official can run for office again after sitting out a four-year election cycle.
Voters were bound to approve term limits eventually, said Ernest Foote of the Stanislaus Taxpayers Association.
"It's been festering over a period of time," said Foote, whose group spearheaded the initiative. "I think the people are speaking out."
