Perhaps people would like to call Bushes office, Ashcroft, Bob Marshall, etc. to let them know that not only has Terri been denied rehabilitation for 10 years which is against the law but that after Terri got hydration and sustenance this last time that she is still being denied the rehab. Ask them what are they doing about it. Report back what you find out.

Here is the story.. there is a need to freep the heck out of Larry King in that it appears he or his reps were only going to give the Schindlers a 20 min. segment. Something needs to be done about this!

It needs to be hammered home that Terri isn't getting rehab which under law she should be getting! We must make the Advocacy group aware of this neglect and also all officials, reps, and the public. Perhaps a suit against certain officials for this fact would be helpful?

Thank you for sharing your dream. I too dreamed about Terri last night, first time since the feeding tube was replaced. I don't remember the dream though, as I often do. Yours was quite vivid. I think many of us have formed a bond with Terri that is unique, and dreams are a part of making that bond more real.

Thanks for posting that. I will go back and read the whole thing, but I read the part you indicated.

What bothers me is that the 2nd DCA has no problem with the "finding of fact" that MS's heresay testimony is clear and convincing evidence to Terri's wish to die. What they are saying here is that the point to be reconsidered is whether there are new medical procedures that would help her "quality of life" so that NOW she would wish to live. This is actually a moot point in my opinion since there was no clear and convincing evidence of her wishes to begin with.

I don't understand how the higher courts can JUSTIFY Greer's decision that Michael's WORD (and his brother and sister-in-law's) are sufficient evidence.

I am glad you shared your dream-your wants for Terri are mine. Sunshine, immersion ( in a warm whirlpool with family all around, laughter, TV, beach, tender feeding and most of all, I want to place a kitten up to her cheek (and I am a 100% puppy person, dogs are one of my passions) and look into her eyes and tell her the sunshine is hers for the rest of her life.

COnsidering that MS did not honor this supposed request by Terri immediately...but spent three years convincingly attempting to rehabilitate her UNTIL he got the money, then stopped all attempts to rehabilitate (hoping she would die of an infection, etc, and did not EVEN REMEMBER until YEARS LATER, when Felos entered the scene, that Terri had expressed a wish to die if incapcitated, how in the world could ANY COURT, ANY JUDGE, AN HUMAN BEING believe the hearsay words of a RINO who is making babies on the side?

Florida law defines PVS separately from terminal illness, and employs the term as a separate concept in the procedural requirements to withdraw life-prolonging procedures.

AND

PVS is clearly not the same as a terminal illness. However, the state court inexplicably concluded that Terri is “terminal.”

I think Terri should be free of the matrimonial ties to someone who wants her dead and who has, by his adulterous actions, demonstrated that the matrimonial ties DO NOT EXIST for him, except to the extent that he can apparently lay claim to control whether the wife he doesn't want should live or die !!!

It wouldn't surprise me if his "lab manual" were Mein Kampf !! Certainly this case CURRENTLY (by sheer numbers alone) is not to be compared to the Haulocaust perpetrated by the scurrilous nazi on the Jewish people, but who knows but that it's not one heck of a SINISTER precedent to be setting,... and under the "color of law" in a Nation that represents the hope of freedom for ALL ??

EVERYONE who sits idly by during this tragedy should ask themself... "What happens when 'they' come for you?"

I hear ya...this entire scenario, start to finish, reads like a horror story of immense proportions. Justice has not been met. Not even closely met. What has been met is a very clever and powerful attorney in Pinellas Cty, one bent of making right to die an issue that covers folks convicted, without living wills, on the hearsay of their spouse. This is wrong.

Anti the constitutional right to life all of us enjoy.

And Terri deserves to live and to die surrounded by those who REALLY LOVE HER and not a husband making babies with his whore while trying to knock off his wife who refuses to die. He has needed help in knocking Terri off, so strong is her will to live after YEARS of neglect and virtual imprisonment with NO gentle, loving therapy or stimulation.

Imho-this case is not over until Michael Schiavo faces court action with regards to his abuse and neglect.

I agree. With such a blatant conflict of interest, it is totally baffling to me how Greer could find it "clear and convincing".

One of the "kill Terri" people last night said that simple answers are generally the true ones and that most consipiracy theories are BS. While I would tend to agree most conspiracy theories are BS, in this case Greer's rulings make no sense, so to me, some type of conspiracy or collusion IS the simplest answer.

But, then again, that's just me ;-)
