Inside the Beltway - Treason's cousin

Because news outlets like to remind President Bush how many American servicemen have died since he declared an "end" to major combat in Iraq, a new military and intelligence-themed Internet site spells out reasons for the current U.S. deployment.

"America is at war," reminds IntelMemo.com. "We are at war against the network of international terrorists who committed the mass murders of September 11th. We are at war against the survivors of Saddam Hussein's regime and against the remnants of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Americans have died and continue to die in this struggle."

Sen. Miller's terminology makes me think of treason's second cousin?

I do believe that is not the 2nd cousin, but treason itself. Go look in an illustrated dictionary, this picture is, or at least should be, beside the word Treason. Even Benedict Arnold was still technically a British subject when he did what he did, so was merely a traitor to the revolution, not to "his" country. But, maybe I've missed something, did the Impeached One get ChiCom citzenship right after he was inaugerated the first time?

When FDR took office he declared war on capitalism and free markets, until he got sidetracked by World War II. And he did a lot of damage. Now, the Democrats are waging war not just against President Bush but against every decent, hardworking family in America. This time, we're not distracted by despair and hunger, so we can truly fight back.

Is it a beagle?

Nope, he's a big ol' hound dog. The people who gave him to me (we're his fourth owners -- he's a lot of dog) said he was a Labrador-dry mouth St. Bernard (whatever that is) mix. He's all legs, nose, and ears, and when he gets mad, he barks like a poodle (ky-YI, ky-YI).

I think he's related to Stitch, but I can't prove it. If the mothership lands in my back yard, I'm going to be really ticked off.

Yeah, okay, what you're saying there sounds more like an Alpha Centauri. Where they come from, bi-directional gravity makes them spindly all over.

Yep ! The 'RATS have no plan, except planning on being against whatever the GOP/Bush proposes.

That was a great article you posted on FDR. You might want to link that here ...

. . . bi-directional gravity makes them spindly all over.

That would explain the killer tail that operates independently of the rest of his body.
