PS - I'm not saying I know anything about her being a FReeper... Just that she fits the profile of a typical FReeper.

Wow that's amazing, thanks for that info; I've always been fascinated by her.

Exactly.

Oswald was a weird character and he did seem to have a fair amount of native intelligence. Definitely a nut case and he acted alone.

>>...Oswald had a beautiful, unobstructed shot from the Texas Schoolbook Depository building in Dallas as the presidential motorcade approached. He passed on a perfect shot, choosing instead to allow the motorcade to turn left and proceed below his window,...<<

"You know, I've been an asassination buff since the book "Six Seconds in Dallas" came out but I've never thought of what the above points out."

Nor I. I have actually been to the site and spent several hours walking the area. In the lower left of the pic is a parking lot and railroad area. A fence is under the trees at the back of the "grassy knoll". I spent considerable time here pondering the possible shooter from this area and then walking away thru the RR yard as a worker.

Ahh we'll probably never know.

"Marina lives in a small community east of Dallas. Last I heard, she's still married and is an active volunteer in the REPUBLICAN WOMEN'S GROUP..."

Fascinating!!

This ties in to the TV show interviewing Oswald's mistress who says she developed a fast-acting cancer with the gov't to kill Castro with. Conventional radiation treatments only made it grow faster! So .... maybe Ruby DID contract it in prision!?

The grassy knoll shot has a very high track-crossing angle--essentially, the angular momentum of the target would be extremely high, giving high chances of a miss. The only way to get around this would be to shoot through a road sign. It's just about the worst place to take a million-dollar, can't-afford-to-miss shot.

Agreed - at the time (early 80's) I was still fascinated with all the theories and the fuzzy photo of a person in uniform with a fuzzy badge on and a flash of light coupled with something about a RR tool box being found behind the wooden fence and parking lot area - just had to check it out.

I spent a whole day there in July. We walked all over the entire area, and toured the book dep. museum. We saw the X on the street. We looked out the window from where Oswald "supposedly" shot Kennedy. You know, there was NEVER a trial, how about innocent until PROVEN guilty? Just wondering.

The single bullet had to remain in the air for a long time and it had to go through Connally, through about three bones, then through Kennedy in several places, yet remain unmarked, pristine. Plus it wasn't on the stretcher, until they figured out there should have been a bullet on the stretcher, then another miracle, a pristine bullet shows up on the stretcher. magic~

Nellie Connally was on TV the other day and she said the Warren Commission is WRONG. She said John read the whole thing and he said it was ALL WRONG too. She says "I was there, I KNOW what happened!"

The pristine bullet wasn't pristine at all.

Marina never left Dallas/Ft. Worth. She remarried I think to a rancher or real estate guy who later died. That husband raised the kids. The kids attended school in Dallas. That has always struck me as weird. If anyone would need to relocate, it would be the Russian wife of the guy who killed the president. But no, she never even packed an overnight bag, much less high tailed it back home to Russia. The only explaination I can see it that she wasn't that bright in the first place which may be why she was so taken with Oswald and her uncle may have been looking for any excuse to get her out of his house. She's 19, living off relatives, can't/won't hold a job on her own so uncle had to give her one hoping she'd save enough to get out of his house. The teenager falls for the mysterious young American who's runaway to Russia and she must nurse him back to health. As all romance novels end, they rush off to marry and he takes her away to a far off land - ahhhh. No conspiracy, just a stupid girl.

Dog: I am just quoting from what Nellie Connally said on TV this past weekend. I guess I trust HER word over everyone else since SHE was there. And her husband was there and he agrees with HER and both of them call the Warren Commission Report a big lie. That is what I believe. I believe what SHE says. I think it was a huge coverup. I don't think that was THE bullet at all, I think it was PLANTED in the stretcher after the fact. Get a copy of Nellie's new book. She spells it out in black and white.

I didn't see Nellie's interview last weekend, but her book was excerpted in the Houston Chronicle, which I did read, and I'm aware of her opinion, as well as John's.

You might be interested in the computer modeling which Dale Meyers did on the Zapruder film which was aired by ABC last week. Click here and then click on each of the Conclusions for a fascinating analysis of the bullets and trajectories.

Sorry, it didn't hit any bones until striking Connelly. I have no idea why you would write that it had to "remain in the air for a long time". The fact that the bullet is NOT pristine, but has deformation on the end, shows you have been paying too much attention to Oliver Stone and not enough to the facts.
