Freeper Mom Fears Cancer, Please Pray

A fellow freeper mom has asked me to post this. She has some symtoms of colon cancer, and has occult blood in her stool. A ct scan has been done, and she is awaiting a colonoscopy. Please pray that she can have the colonscopy ASAP.

Please pray that the colonoscopy will show NO CANCER, and IF she has cancer, it is stage one.

Please also don't post any "horror stories." She's already heard a few, and desparately needs to be uplifted and supported by her fellow freepers.

When caught in it's early stages, it is highly curable. My mom just went through this whole scene, and they found something that they thought looked not good, but thankfully, it turned out to be pre-cancerous and now that it's removed, all is well. That shows how important it is to get a colonoscopy.

I just had word from the FReeper mom that the colonoscopy will be done tomorrow.
God has already answered one of our prayers!

Please, God, we're asking that the tests show NO cancer cells present!

That is great news! The sooner she finds out, whatever the news might be, the better for all involved. I had a cancer scare a couple of years ago (large tumor in leg) and it turned out to be benign, but the waiting was terrible.

That's like the chest x-ray I had done on a Friday.
The doctor called and said it looked like a mass in one lung, but I'd have to wait until Monday for the expert to view it.
That was the longest week-end I ever spent in my life!

Monday morning he called and said it was just a cloud in the x-ray.
